I unfortunately don't have your crystal ball so can't see who will be the better player in the future. One thing for sure is they are completely different players - Oliver is nowhere near as polished as SPS, but gets a lot more of it. Will revisit in 5 years as to who is be better - you obviously have your blue and red glasses on, I have my blue and white.

You are asking this poster to not stand up for his player and condemn him for this alleged dive. As a matter of interest, did you condemn Oliver on BF?

But you did state categorically that "SPS is/will be a much better player" - so you had a crystal ball at some stage. What happened? Did it roll away?

One thing for sure is they are completely different players - Oliver is nowhere near as polished as SPS, but gets a lot more of it. Will revisit in 5 years as to who is be better - you obviously have your blue and red glasses on, I have my blue and white.

True, we'll have to wait to see who emerges as the better player. But comments like "nowhere near as polished" are totally misplaced. It shows that you really haven't watched Oliver much at all - except maybe the matches against Carlton. Your descriptions of him don't even resemble him as a player.

Didn't like it one bit and don't think it's a a true reflection of the way he plays which annoyed me even more.
You want to address the issue now or just hark back to Oliver and skim over this shit act by one of your blokes?

So Oliver doesn't get a lot more of the ball than SPS? And yes, I have seen a lot of Oliver as I attend a lot of games at the MCG...he is not as polished as SPS.

I get it, you want to stick up for your guy, but if you measure Oliver by the fact that you didn't like a dive he took one day against West Coast, you're not even interested in football. Have you even seen Oliver play?

Yep. Jordan did. Got three weeks for hitting a bloke when he wasn't looking. You forgot about Hogan hitting Rowe when he wasn't looking as well. You remember, Sam Rowe, the bloke who has survived testicular cancer. The bloke who rang up Hogan to offer him support. So there's tough...and there's tough.

They were both staring straight at the melbourne blokes you flog. Cripps hit lewis first and then couldnt handle the repercussions.

Nice dive from Lewis with 30 seconds to go in the game. Make or break moment on the dees half backline and he went to ground expecting contact...the north player (garner) stood up and went harder. Cost Melbourne any chance of winning the game.
