All you flogs jealous of the Bomber/Hird dream team smashing the competition apart better get used to it, they aren't going anywhere apart from the top of the ladder in the weeks to come.

Sooooo many of you just want us to be burned because you are simply jealous and envious of what our club has become. There is only a few more weeks till this pissant ASADA investigation is wrapped up and we are cleared of all this speculative bullshit.

So I am giving you the option here to apologise in advance, admit that the Hird/Bomber dreamteam has been the biggest success of the modern era.
hard style rocka?

I do enjoy this, and really thing one of our fans (if he is one) should pull his head in. BUT The Wonderboys only got 12k with 2 derbys and a gifted 11 game winning streak. Their avg was worse than us when they werent at their best..

Now continue.. ;)
Well they Sold there Derby out 4 weeks before in a stadium of 20k. GWS had to get an ex NRL player to draw a crowd for the first game. Since then no one cares.

Also your home average is 17,391 after Rd 3

Yes they did, I was there when they did for both games. Sydney FC 3/4 filled it in the 1st derby and half filled it for the 2nd. The fact remains over the whole season they only got 1k more than us in the supposed hearttland, the supposed place that would smash attendance records and the Sky Blues avgs (which by the way in a losing year was 18k).

Yeah but unlike some i can accept that the derby games against the Swans will, for the moment, be mostly swans fans.

Personally cant stand this fighting between the Aussie rules and Soccer fans, we play at different times and I love both games (though weirdly follow the Sydney side in one and the Western Side in the other). I think the ones shitting their pants right now are the NRL, the Panthers, Tigers, Parra and the Doggies are having terrible years and crowds, as well they are not getting the members. Also it has come out that Mr money bags (Politis) has admitted that his roosters are 4th in line in the East behind The Swans, Sky Blues and The Waratahs, to be completely honest the only thing keeping the league at its current levels of spending is the SOO and the psycotic Qlders love of the game with great crowds. Though tv viewers is still also saving its hide.

I am so sorry HarD_StyLe_WaNkA that by the end of the 2013 the Essendon Football Club will cease to exist in it's current format.

It will instead be merged with a shitty bowls club where Danks can put his drugs to use keeping your (very elderly) players alive.

So please accept my sincerest apologies dude :thumbsu:

Thats strange. From Sydney's West, the only thing with importance is a team called Western Sydney Wanderers according to the radio, TV, newspapers and the talk of the town.
I go for both GWS and WSW and I'm hoping to go to the Grand Final this Sunday to see the mighty Wanderers do the double. It is possible to like more than one sport...

This, this and so much this, but I was at the second WSW home derby and there were 75% WSW fans. Why do you go for Sydney FC anyway?

nah mate, would of been the same amount Sky Blues and Wanderers and then the rest made up of undecideds.
I started following the A-League in its 1st year following the Sky Blues.. I dont change teams, if my team goes so does my support (Hello NRL, well half my support)..

Isn't the Wanderers a cricket stadium in Jo'burg? I confused what this has to do with football...
Love seeing the Giants fans get defencive when you mention the Wanderers. Gives me a good chuckle when im bored.

"But we got 38k to our first game" is my fav comeback :p

No chance. The first derby was at least 50% Wanderers, and while I didn't go to the second derby, it looked like it was 75% Wanderers on TV. This is coming from a Sydney fan who hates the Wanderers.
