Thought his disposal dropped off in the second half as he tired. Rucking all day in the wet takes it out of you! He was bloody good though.

Agree - When he was Tired his Disposal was not as good but that is why with Witts coming in making this happen lot less

Was in the votes for mine today , 17 possessions 26 hit outs had the better of a seasoned Bellchambers. Grundy's ruck work to our advantage and contesting in stoppages is significantly underrated . Good thing for us is he has toughness and will get stronger and better .

Grundy played well. At one point, Grundy tapped to Swan who hand-balled to Pendlebury who delivered to the forward line ... Let us see more of this! Grundy is our starting point in the ruck and we are starting to see the dominance of ruck that we haven't seen since Monkhurst. I agree Witts is in for Gault next week and so it can only get better!

It was a day for the smalls, of course his disposal would suffer a little.

IMO if anyone has a bad word to say about a 21 year old shouldering the ruck duties and breaking even or beating more experienced ruckman than he..

Well you are a dead set flog.

Has exceeded all expectations for mine.

At least we have seen continued development and improvement from him into this season... His tank is improving and he's shown he can monster men of his age (longer last week) which shows he's on the track to becoming a top line ruck in the next 18-36 months IMO
