Did anyone manage to catch the rumour that Ditts was carrying on about this morning on Triple M breakfast? I had to get on the train just before he dropped the rumour. He mentioned it being about one of our players. Can only assume he's starting rumours early of either Brad Crouch or Daniel Talia leaving at the end of the year.
Jesus mate, smartphone, app and headphones and you'd be posting the rumour instead of asking about it.

Smart phones should definitely have FM tuners. It's pretty stupid that you have to use data to listen to radio. Takes a fair bit too.

So I guess Ditt's rumour was nothing special. Much like him.
Used to shit me a bit TBH. Don't listen to FM radio and never understood why there couldn't be an AM tuner as well. Might be a technical barrier.

Just a thought.

Okay, we keep hearing that every team sport in the world has signed up to WADA, except for the big US sports, because they're private leagues - NBA, NFL, MLB

So... if for instance MLB isn't part of the code, why was there such a big kerfuffle about players using performance-enhancing drugs? Did they have their own code that was being broken, or was it considered "America's Pastime" and so people were shocked / abhorred to think it was happening? Wasn't their testifying to Congress and everything?

Taking steriods was against US law. While it might not have been banned in MLB it was still not a legal substance.

Baseball is a unique sport in that the numbers all mean something. Everyone knew what 60 and 61 meant. We knew what .400 meant. We knew what 3,000 hits meant and we knew what 56 meant.

In 1990 it meant the same things as in 1927. You could imagine those guys playing in 1990 and vice versa.

Steriods and the McGuires and Bonds, et al...perverted all those numbers.

That was the "crime". That is why it is so "abhorrent" to those of a certain age.

The numbers were dishonored.

I have a question that doesn't require a thread.

What happened with D Glass? Just read the eagles feed that he is back on board with West Coast. Any reason why he didn't work out at Adelaide?
