Make no mistake this will be a huge round of footy with our game and St Kilda v Sydney being so meaningful.

I'm predicting a high scoring, goal for goal affair under the roof and it may just come down to who has the nerve in the 4th, something we have struggled with losing so many close ones this season.

Best of luck lads.
Likewise.
I'm a closet Roos supporter. If you make the 8 you guys will have at least one more on your wagon.

The thought of meeting the Eagles in the elimination final at Subi excites me. Immensely...
Finally Rod a comment I can agree with.

I'd love to snag a spot in the 8, however the team needs to find their Tyson Goldsacks on the flight over to Victoria.

Whenever I placed $30 bets against Freo this season we won...I think I should restart this habit :D

We have the side to beat North. It's just a matter of which Freo show up and as bad a cliche that is, it's really the only way to put it to its lowest common denominator.

Well Moo, I hope our players do grow a pair of Ballas. I'm setting the Barlow and expecting a loss this week. Faulk me if we can Pearce our way into the 8 after our recent effort. Its such a Pitty we can fall Lower than 9th. Next Mundy I'm expecting the Mayne topics on this board will be De Boering dribble that comes after every loss. People will be making the loss a mountain out of a mole Hill.

Very nice, Sep.

By the way where's the cheer squad sitting for the Kangas game?

Coventry End.

But there is no mad rush to get tickets and it wont be hard finding a seat, it is a Norf game remember.
Some guy in my office is struggling to give away 4 tickets in the medallion club and a free car park pass!

It will be a hard ask to beat North away. On paper we are better, however I can not see how we can possibly win against anyone with the style of footy we are playing.

What ever happened to our run through the midfield. Why do we insist on playing the boundary on the right wing coming out of defence?

At one stage I thought wow! We finally have a team that can pinpoint targets in the 50. Now we can't hit a handball target on most occasions.

SAYING THAT
We have shown mini bursts of good play, and have probably been unlucky in some umpiring decisions at either end which can have a big impact - ask any Eagle why we got to within 1 point.

I will be tipping us this week and honestly believe we will win, but I tipped them the last 2 weeks which shows my support for a club underachieving in a supporters eyes. North probably feel the same way?

We aren't better on paper. We've too many players who wouldn't get a game elsewhere, certainly not at the Roos.

The fact it is at Etihad might work for us. If it were the G or Subi we'd be run off our feet.

Etihad is where run wins the game. We should have learnt from the Saints game where we were killed by their spread at stoppages, we just were that split second behind in spreading and it cost us. As soon as we win a free kick, take a mark etc, we need to spread.

Not at all confident this week, I'm worried that Freo is one week tired-er while the bye and home game might tip the balance for North. Still a win and there's every chance we'll go into the final round of the year playing for a spot in the finals :).
