After losses by Geelong and Richmond a win tonight suddenly puts us back in top 4 contention, we'd be a game out of 3rd, and if the Roos win tomorrow, a game out of 2nd.

Of course, this generally means we're going to get pumped tonight ensuring all hope is lost. ;)

:D. Has everyone done their Voodoo dance? We might get the right team to run out tonight if we have.

There's a heap against us:

* Superstition: We have a chance for Top 4
* Opposition need: Brisbane need to win this and it has been declared do or die
* Injury: Whilst it's not as bad as Brisbane's we are still missing some of our best players.
* McManus: Self explanitory

I can see us losing and if we do I'm in for one f***ing long week :(

The thing I have learnt tonight is the difference between Freo and Collingwood supporters. When the heat is on, Freo supporters don't go missing.

The door was slammed shut, then locked, and the key was thrown in the river. A Double brick wall was then built infront of the door, followed by a layer of bullet proof glass. It was then finished with a thick layer of titanium.

Well done that person. From my time living in Coolbellup, I was left unaware of this incipient sense of humour. Pure GOLD.

Well played. Still, I'd expect nothing less from Fremantle people. The only people in Perth of any quality.

You guys see but with your mis guided belief that you are of importance you refuse to believe it.

Western ostriches.
We must be important; a discussion on Dockerland about your supporters leaving early references us all the time:

(Of course, I've never - that's never - seen that big a mass exodus at an Eagles game. I reckon 50% of the crowd left during the last quarter of last night's game. Yes, I was there.)

It was quite funny, that mass exodus.

It's hard to compare an Eagles exodus compared to ours. Our supporters have had to put up with much, much more. It is somehow more warranted. Which could explain the greater scale.

That, and a vast majority of the current supporters are bandwagoners that have jumped on board because we made a final in 03. Things were looking up. These are the types that will leave on mass.

The thing with Weagles supporters leaving early is that they've been doing it for years, whether they're winning or losing the game. Fair enough too, because that 5 minute drive around the block could take 6 if they get stuck in traffic. ;) :D

Docker supporters leaving early is a new thing. Its disappointing, but may be CC and the team should take note of it and start pulling their socks up. Not that they should need any public/media pressure for motivation...
