Essendope - Another one snorts the dust!

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-04-13/i-provided-ex-suns-star-bock-banned-peptide-says-dank/7321584

Disgraced sports scientist Stephen Dank claims he supplied former Gold Coast Suns star Nathan Bock with the prohibited peptide CJC-1295.
Dank, who was slapped with a lifetime ban by the AFL last year, said he was bewildered by ASADA's failure to confirm what drug he had given Bock.
"I don't know why they couldn't establish that it was CJC-1295 when they think they've established that I gave (Essendon players) Thymosin beta-4, which they can't," Dank told The Herald Sun.

My take would be that they couldn't establish enough links in the chain. With the TB4, there was plenty of evidence all the way from supply to Dank. Perhaps for this one, they couldn't get that much? Although it's Asada and not WADA too, so perhaps they didn't go for links in the chain, just the entire chain? (Again!)

Im confused.

top bloke incompetents of afl tribunal said dank didn't (even though dank admitted he did in the previous evidence). ASADA only had the $ and time to choose one case to challenge and went the efc 34. That's my read.

My tinfoil answer is bock gave ASADA enough to put pressure on dean Robinson to then get the efc 34.

Of course if the afl tribunal actually was independent and, functional this could have been avoided.

Not confusing at all: I pinched this from someone else:

"Dank just reminding everyone that he knows where the bodies are buried.

Take note EFC"

I wondered about the reasoning for him doing this. Taunting ASADA? because they surely have to reopen the case but does Dank then present as a witness - bit of a quandary

No, it's just a warning to Essendon to say he has all the cards in his hands.

And wouldn't hesitate to use them if Essendon steps out of line!

I'd guess that Dank is being sued by someone at Essendon, maybe one of the players?

He dobs in Bock to warn them off!
Not a great threat against the players. Players have already copped their suspension. They have nothing to lose.

Maybe he's heard that one of them is suing him, and using this approach to put pressure on EFC to pull the player into line?

Essendon are paying Dank to keep quiet.

Gold Coast aren't.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a financial incentive from an Essendon donor to Dank to open up about Bock.

It's pretty hilarious that the case is now re-opened due to Dank.
So many laughs with this guy.
Surely the irony everyone is missing is that snow white Dank is basically admitting that he doesn't have an issue giving athletes banned substances. And therefore weaken Essendon's PR machine case that everything at Essendon was just the good thymosin and Spikes special 40 Vitamin C injections in the stomach for that nasty head cold he was suffering due to his new born child. If Dank is willing to dope one player, why not the Essendon 34?

Boom, headshot!
