Ah, allegedly sorry - you mean he'd give evidence relating to alleged knowledge of the alleged illegal import of substances, as opposed to simply providing evidence on the alleged use of PED in sport matter? Allegedly got it!
Import would probs be a FedPol or Border Force matter. Trafficking around Vic might be State Pol.
Like anyone I guess, if they provide material support to an investigation, they might receive a letter of comfort from the investigating body. Allegedly?

Had my Facebook memories thing show me my update from two years ago jokingly congratulating Mitchell and Cotchin on winning the 2012 Brownlow. Here are some gems from an * fan who took the bait. The delusion is breathtakingly funny and sad:

Head*ed: Stephen Dank, I agree. If he had all documents as stated, none of the speculation would have happened. I'll stand over here, you can stand there.
Me: Wasn't referring to Dank, referring to the psychopath who let him loose. To believe Hird is an innocent patsy here is baffling. I get changing your view on an idol is tough - but sometimes great footy players can be s**t human beings.
Head*ed: I'll say he was duped by Dank, how else would you explain his access to other AFL n NRL clubs, Hird believed what he was told by Dank like most that what was happening was legal use of a supplement. Hird was not the "scientist", he was trying to find a legal way to better the players. That's what i believe.
Me: Despite knowing all of this stuff was experimental? That doesn't wash with me. Even if he didn't know they were banned substances - he unleashed a wave after wave of experimental substances at his players. That is an utterly appalling breach of his duty of care for his players. Dank is a cretin as well, but he was allowed free reign by Hird - even when Bruce Reid had concerns. I hope any player financially impacted comes after both Dank and Hird civilly. They both need to pay for what they've done more so than they have so far.

Yes Doc Reid could've made a bigger inclusion in it but he was sidelined, absolutely stupid, but at the heart of it - Dank duped them all, Hird, players, officials. (This one is my personal favourite!)

And if he was so innocent why did he allow such poor governance around the injections regime if not to hide the wrongdoings? For all that is wrong about James Hird, he's not stupid. He was as culpable as Dank and put the health of blokes under his management at risk.

I was aghast when I saw photos of her there today. How anyone thought that was okay is absolutely beyond me. I guess the AFL set the precedent by allowing Hird to present a medal last year.
the thing is, they are the type to do it.
FWIW, I do think sharapova ignorantly broke the rules, and she has served her suspension.
The bombers on the other hand, i believe were complicit, and being complicit should be a life ban
