I don't know how you justify keeping Waite without at least one of the target recruits. If we had in mind that with the double deal, we'd shoot straight back up the ladder, then it makes sense to have Waite in the forward line. But if we are going to be bottom 4 again, then we may as well let him go and we just play the kids.

No. Its clear we were used as a pawn to get Richmond to pay up, thus now making Dusty the highest paid player in the league now.
However Richmonds stall tactics did emotional hijack us to thinking we would nab him as they didnt want to meet his demands.
