The Weapon interview underlined his airheadedness. His weekly appearances on Talking Footy - where his attempts to sound intelligent and inquisatorial make Wayne Carey look like a deep thinker - will bring him down.

As John Lennon once said of Paul McCartney: ''A pretty face may last a year or two. But pretty soon they'll see what you can do.'' Paul still churns out the songs but they're pretty meh. Great live artist though, doing mainly the old stuff.
