This is a silly thread. You cant single out one player for the loss.

Go read Daniher's post match comments. His leadership team was up for this one. He singled out Neitz and White as 2 of his leaders that wanted to make a point.

Where was our leadership group? The whole point of appointing team leaders is that they respond when a team does what Melbourne did in the first 10 minutes.

Apart from Campbell, where were the rest of our team leaders?

Unfortunately 1980 we don't seem to have a successful leadership group.

I think the concept is utter crap anyway.
IMO It enhances segregation amongst what should be an
evenly balanced situation.
Stand up and be counted.

Weren't these once the duties of the Capt,Vice and deputy.

If u cant answer for yourself after 17 u never will.

As if a leadership group is going to help.
It sounds like a a remedial class for ******s.

Play ****en footy and be a ****en man ffs!!!

Every successful team has a leadership group that sets an example for the younger players when the going gets tough.

When you get jumped like we did against Melbourne, the team leaders are supposed to step up a gear and make sure the younger players dont lose their nerve like they did.

Get some sleep mate. It must be 4am in LA.

Getting ready to watch the new season of the Sopranos.

My point is that gifted individuals should lead by example
(Nathan Brown).
Sure...look up to these guys but dont put them in a seperate group.
They need equality to solidify as a unit.

I know all successful teams have one but they'd be successful
just by having these guys on their list,regardless of the title,
"leadership group" simply because they lead by example.
