This is verging on legit chat and not at all worthy for the mighty dump thread, but reading the Hawks board today and seeing them complain about never drafting mids while all the other clubs top up, and how they only draft flankers with midfield potential, makes me think that maybe it just might be the case that possibly every fan base is just as stupid and insular as eachother.

A de-listed small (and he is very small) forward from another crap team is a strange hill to die on though.
Imo he's just going to be another list clogger that we give too long a contract to and end up regretting. I don't mind taking a chance on the odd guy like that but Rowe is far more likely to end up as the next Kane Lucas rather than the next Peter Bell.

This dump thread is a crap idea the way it's being used, something I'd expect to see on the dockers board.
It ruins the flow of conversation and takes away half the fun of being on here.
I understand having it for when things get to an absurd level but moving 3 or 4 posts out of a 10 or 12 post conversation is pointless IMO

Yeah but it's unnecessarily santising the board.
For example some of those changes threads from the last few years were some of the best threads of all time, a lot of the stuff that happened in them would have just ended up in here and shut down the conversation

Yeah agree, like you I haven't ignored anyone, the crazy covid thread and the █████ threads (still can't believe it was plural) came close but man, they shouldn't have been on the West Coast board in the first place.

Footy rants amuse me no end and the reactions when people respond by just laughing or lobbing innocuous grenades to point out hypocrisy or to prick a pompous ego are even better.

If it makes you feel any better, this thread isn’t intended to be permanent. It’s more to try streamline the trade and draft threads which people would be reading for information moreso than back and forth circular discussions

Once we get past the draft this thread will become unnecessary
