We have won three in a row, three times this year now.

Will it be third time lucky for us at trying to win four in a row?

Craigy has called a training lock-out for Saturday morning and there has been talk about revenge for our loss to the Dogs early in the season. Plus we will be trying to play out the four quarters.

I am hoping we will be really up for this one and should come home with a win. :D

Yep, we're due.

With WB (AAMI), Kangas (TD), Sydney (AAMI) and Melbourne (AAMI) over the next month or so, we have a good opportunity to set a new club record.

The Kangas will be a big test, and the other wont be easy, but I think we can do it.

Go you Crows

Didn't have Rob last time we played them so hopefully he can hold West to about 75% of normal gives, be bloody hard though.

Who will pick up Brad Johnson ??

I'm pretty sure Shirley didn't play last time against the Doggies.

I reckon Rutten might get the job on BJ.

Edit: Actually if BJ roams up towards the wings, maybe Bock should be given that task.

I reckon Bassett would perfect for Johnson myself.

Yeh I agreed he's be a better option, I think Rutten and Bock would be too big and slow for him. If he plays forward either Bassett, Hart or maybe even Torney would be better match ups IMO.

Just looking at the club sites for details, this is how they compare

Brad Johnson 182cm & 85kg

Rutten 191 & 96
Bock 193 & 83
Basset 191 & 89
Hart 188 & 85
Torney 186 & 83

I think Bock would be quite a bit heavier than the 83kg's he's shown as, more like 93 IMO.

I think Bass or Hart will get the nod.

I belive are best ever winning streak is five games in a row.
If a couple of umpiring decisions late in the last quarter against gellong had fallen our way and at least one goal was kicked as a result we would of won our last seven games.
On this week the boys trained pretty hard yesterday again and apparantly were quite impressive.

Whilst we're talking stats. We've never had as many as 11 wins after 16 rounds. Here's hoping we can this year.

Here's the table I compiled & posted at ATCF last week:

After 4 matches: 4-0 (1996)
After 5 matches: 4-1 (1996)
After 6 matches: 4-2 (1994, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2005)
After 7 matches: 5-2 (1996, 2002)
After 8 matches: 6-2 (1996)
After 9 matches: 6-3 (1996, 2002)
After 10 matches: 7-3 (2002)
After 11 matches: 8-3 (2002)
After 12 matches: 8-4 (2002)
After 13 matches: 8-5 (1993, 2002, 2003, 2005)
After 14 matches: 9-5 (1993, 2003, 2005)
After 15 matches: 10-5 (1993, 2003, 2005)
After 16 matches: 10-6 (1993, 2002, 2003)

After 17 matches: 11-6 (2002, 2003)
After 18 matches: 12-6 (2002, 2003)
After 19 matches: 13-6 (2002, 2003)
After 20 matches: 13-7 (2002, 2003)
After 21 matches: 14-7 (2002)
After 22 matches: 15-7 (2002)
