Fev, Waite and the Irishman are the only 3 we have that play regular senior footy that fall into this category.

Fev can’t control his emotions and needs to concentrate on playing footy as he can’t switch off once the push and shove has finished.

The Irishman I would prefer that he just concentrated his energies in holding down a KPP in defence. He can hurt the opposition by running in a straight line rather than trying belt them. When big Earl Spalding palyed he rarely went around punching players but hurt the opposition by splitting packs and bumps (Guy McKenna).

Waite if he is not careful could end up with a rap sheet like Dustin Fletcher. He has this habit of coming late and is all arms and legs and can be a bit uncoordinated (inspector gadget like).

I think that our genuine enforcer could be Cameron Cloke if he can hold down a senior spot, he showed a lot before hurting his shoulder this year. He has that mad stare and doesn’t mind mixing it up on and off the field (a chip of the old block).

couldnt agree more. was very happy with clokes consistent and hard-at-it ethic, quite disappointed that the injury happened lets hope he gets a few good ones in start of season, i think ratts WILL give him a go if he gets a good pre-season in

Was it Cam who was trying to get back into the game after getting knocked out, ran about 10 steps and fell over again and then tried again to get to the ball and then the siren went?

Now thats a hard nut who would do well for the club going in to get the ball and sorting out the tossers from the other teams.

We have Aisake, the scariest looking player in the AFL. If he and Setanta double team someone - look out!

yeah... got the irish bookends :D

wouldnt want to get in the middle of them if they decide to slam together :D

I loved the look on Lloyds face when he realised that irish wasnt going to back down from him...

Yeh you could tell Lloyd was thinking "what have I got myself into" as soon as he worked out big Setanta was a nut. :thumbsu:

I dont follow any teams in a league that is littered with corruption and match fixing and more importantly the standard of football is worse than our own A-League. Its the same as the people who boast that they barrack for celtic which play in a nothing league like the gaybros. How good is the greek league when you team which has dominated have never made the semi-finals let alone the final of any major european cup final. Keep chanting for a nothing league if it makes you happy!

Hey shut your mouth.

Celtic have won a Champions League cup and made a EUFA cup final.

We just beat AC Milan in the champions league, so if we are a nothing league I guess that must mean Serie A is a nothing league to seeing as one of their best can't beat us

If Mitch Hahn was available i'd not hate the thought of picking him up for the role of being a bit of an enforcer.

He doesnt need to be a match winner, just a bash and crash player that makes the opposition hurt for their possessions.

I wouldn't waste your time with him ... he doesn't know anything about football... he doesn't even have a team to support - which is sad .. :(

I'm not thinking of the big guys though, we need player who can stand up in a pack and say "if your gonna go for that ball you wont go for the next"!

Don't know about that, he looks like Prince! Mind you, at 6'7, he is EXACTLY twice his size.

Agreed this is something our team totally lacks. And it's due to having a young list that lacks mature hard bodies.

Who would come in and remonstrate should someone belt Murph (again - gee he gets thumped a lot)?

I think you'd have to be on drugs to think fighting Setanta would be a good idea. Even little Irish guys are tough - and he's effin' huge. But I think a big body in the midfield would be useful, someone who can lay people out ala Ricciuto, Voss, etc.The solid, 90+kg middy. We don't have any.

I don't think the Blues are a physical side at all... is it something that will come with age and preseasons, or do we need an anvil in there?
