we were playing a man down as we had rioli in the team

Josh Walker was just too strong for Cheney.
How old is he in this pic?? He looks SO young! (sorry- off topic, I realise!)

Quality postHawthorn would've won today if they played better and Geelong played shitter. That's the real reason. I thought if Hawthorn could've just kicked 3 more goals in the last quarter and prevented Hawkins from kicking 3 goals in the final term, then the result might've been reversed, so you probably have to thank the favouritism from the goal umpires. They really seemed to notice every time the ball went over their heads.
they didn't let us any space around half forward. This year we have been patiently moving it around half forward and using skill to spot up a target. Geelong didn't allow us this (the weather was also a big factor here)
Hahahahahahaha this is my favourite thread of all time.

I got a photos with SJ and Hawkins last year. Maybe Caddy and Motlop will be best on ground at this time next season?Gysenn
Is that Josh Caddy you're pictured with ?
If it is could you stop posing for pictures with players. You're clearly our injury jinx [Motlop,Caddy, whose next ?]![]()

I would think that if both teams had made less mistakes and had converted more of their shots on goals (or their opportunities to take shots), we'd be about where we were- but with a bigger scoreline
This game means nothing, aside from bragging right and having to put up with a media-cat-wank.
What.....excuse thread for those f'ws
Except for when that September meeting goes Geelongs way like 2011We all know that it is what happens when they inevitably meet in sept that matters
my highlight of the day was Bruce 'Cyril Rioli is delicious...ugh...ugh....uh - can someone get me a tissue?' McAveney shutting the **** up about 20 minutes into the last quarter after announcing the game over and Hawthorn's not 10 minutes before. Speeeeeeecial.

Then it's not an important match...
