Do you have a copy of the article you'd be willing to share?
The paragraph you've referenced actually says the following.

'Dr James said he could not say whether a bruise found inside the left elbow was the result of an injury. The bruise was in "the classic injection site."'

Grabbing someone by their elbows could leave a bruise in the same area.

I see that notable Adelaide Auction House - Small & Whitefield of Unley Rd. Unley. Did I say Unley. Has just announced an upcoming auction of what appears to be quite a large quantity of antique clocks, parts and watchmakers/clockmakers tools. One might assume it to be stock and workshop of an antique clock shop. Could it be? They are however calling it a Deceased Estate.

I wondered why there were so many clocks in this week's auctions.

I've got a few questions about the Adelaide car scene from the mid/late 70s.

'Green and white Holdens' seem to make regular appearances in the Duncan saga (undercover cops were driving them, as was the mystery witness to his drowning). I've also noticed the same descriptor appearing for cars used in armed robberies and a series of rapes in the late 70s. All were late 60s/early 70s models.

I'm presuming these are green body, white roof? Also, would they likely all be oasis green, or did the sedans come in a range of greens back then? And were these quite common? Was it a popular colour/style?

This was the image in my mind when I read this - 1970.

Hi John,

Do you remember what Alan's stomach contents were and what he last ate?

If anybody else can point me to the same information for Richard Kelvin, it would be appreciated. From memory it was weetbix or similar, indicating a breakfast. I wonder what his last breakfast was at home.

Last known meal was a egg n bacon sandwich. It was still in Alan’s stomach

Thanks. Can you recall if anybody testified at the murder trial as to what specifically Richard had for breakfast the morning he disappeared?

I'm thinking it didn't come up at all.

See information below Kurve, there are details about Richard's lunch the day he was abducted.

Very common for surgeons and other medical specialists to live in North Adelaide

Absolutely. It's where Doctor Steve was living back then (tho he was living in a house - more like a mansion - with a lawyer & lawyer's BF).

And almost every address in Nth Adelaide is 'within a block' of where Kelvin was.

As a Student of this forum for a year or so, I have tried to become absorbed into "What we actually know". What is factual amongst the thousands of pages now available on the Internet and publications? We need to simplify the next analysis down to a timeline of events and persons. Investigations into the actual abductions has been thoroughly examined and little further progress is likely. The contents of the 2008 task force analysis and Mulligan Enquiry into Children in state care will never be fully released to the public. So where can we proceed from there? Has anyone created a timeline from the beginning to the eighties of who lived where? Who was associating or living with who? Can this be entwined with the timings of the abductions? My timeline begins in 1959 with Leslie John DEMPSEY (2/8/1933 to 16/4/2017 Aged 83 year) Arrested. 1959 for the rape of young males. 14 years older than BvE. Had a long term friendship with BvE. There is some speculation as to what this early influence had on BvE?. Next we can go to 18/19 February 1977. Glen (Hugh) STEWART went missing. We also know that 1982 to 1985 Lewis Turtur resided at 59 Prince Street Alberton. What other dates can we extend onto this list?

I think you probably need to read this thread from the first page to get a handle on it all. Most of the information you need to create a timeline is here. There are a number of members who have interesting experiences with locations, suspects, victims and in some instances, fringe associations with perpetrators. If you read from the beginning you should be able to create your own timeline, as you won't find much more credible stuff elsewhere.

Have only recently trawled through the internet trying to find out more about these cases, just out of curiosity.

Decided to come here and post when I learned that while the murders weren’t during my lifetime, 59 Prince Street, Alberton was the address next door to my mother’s family home from when they migrated from Greece in the late 60’s, up until the early 2010’s.

It was a place I spent a lot of time growing up, hence the username but I only ever remember the property as it currently stands, with units.

Upon asking my mother a few questions, she was shocked but not surprised, confirming her knowledge of ‘prostitutes,’ living next door and that my uncles would know a lot more.

Will try provide an update in the near future.

The following is "INFORMATION & SPECULATION" from the Internet. It may not Or may not be factual?". Yes. 59 Prince St. Alberton has a link to so many of the names mentioned on this forum. It was owned by a western suburbs doctor and a much younger chef from June 1977 to August 1984. They rented it out. Correct me here but I believe it was opposite the railway line therefore no neighbours across the road to see what went on. It is thought that Lewis Turtur lived there from 1982 to 1985. Also Pru Firman probably lived there between 1982 and 1984 with fellow post op Kerry W. This was a party house where many visited and stayed at different times. Pru and others were involved with luring young hitch hikers into BvE's car in exchange for mandrax and Serapax. BvE often brought these and other drugged youths back to the house where he would abuse them. Visitors and others in the house would later take their turn. It could be speculated/imagined that some of this also occurred at the house without BvE? One of the house occupants was investigated for one of these rapes and as a result provided crucial information to Police. This allowed the investigation to then be focused on BvE.

I suppose it looked a bit better back then but .. really?

Looks like an investment property for rentals.

I actually lived at 50 Cavendish Ave for a few years around 1998-2002

Extremely basic 2 bedroom one living area, bathroom, kitchen. The toilet used to be out the back until the rear part was enclosed to add more space. Not the kind of place you'd expect a medical practitioner to live though they would have been in better condition in '68
