What about Nathan Thompsonā€™s Son his playing next year isnā€™t he.
Quick can find a goal, SOFT as butter. More outside than Jeff Farmer. Also only just a under seventeen.

On the other hand he is a ripping kid and hope he makes it, development systems being what they are he will get every opportunity, in truth he is a MASSIVE long shot with more than 20 plus kids in the same role in front of him.
Louis is his first name.

Was reading Hawktalk. Was amazed at the lack of 100+ game players who have played at the club over the journey. Shows how hard this game is to sustain a career.

Based on no research at all, since the 70s, I reckon we have had the highest number of guys who have played 200 plus. So that lack of churn would limit numbers.

Louis Thompson survived 1st round of cuts at the Bendigo Pioneers. Played a reasonable game last Sunday mostly half forward and wing, run is his first weapon. Nothing in style like him oldman, plays like a Brad Hill, skinny, medium small, can get trapped like Hartung, did a lot of unrewarded running.Bottom age at this stage 17 this year, if you squint your eyes the right way he might have a flukers hope of making it.

Pioneers will give him every chance being father son and all, some boys are pretty pissed he made the first cut as many that didn't have clearly had his measure over the past few seasons.

That's 4 boys each from Hodge and Crawf, right?

Even if the AFL raise the F/S games requirement to 300 we'll still be safe in the event any of them make it.
out of Crawf's 4 boys, one is certain to inherit his athleticism and competitiveness.
100% that at least one of his lads will become a good footballer if he chooses to pursue it.
