The Fev practising punting??

My mate just called me from uni in Footscray and said Brendan Fevola is practising Punting (NFL Style) at the oval accross from the uni,

Could this be an early indication that he might leave Carlton for an NFL carrer at seasons end??

I have no doubt Fev will pursue a career in the NFL, so no doubt he will be practicing punting. The beauty of being a punter over there is that you can be a lot older than a AFL footballer. So hopefully he will give us a few more good years. Maybe it's a bit of insurance in case he gets on the grog again. Who knows what he will do but it would be criminal for him to leave at seasons end, he owes the club a lot more than that.

Fev recently stated that the only thing keeping him in the AFL is his loyalty to the Carlton Football Club. If people think we're going to get draft picks by trading Fev at seasons end they are very much mistaken, as is Caro who thinks he'll entertain offers from other clubs. For Fev its Carlton or the NFL.

It's probably nothing, they had an article on ten news in perth a few weeks back about Lynch and Nicoski from the eagles practising NFL punting.

Both might be considering a change of codes as they are both close to getting dropped by wet toast.
