Dear friends in Sweet,
In what may come as a surprise to many of you, the Fighting Furies have been on a drive identifying hidden qualities of LEADERSHIP in our list all throughout Season 39. To this end, we have come to the realisation that there are many qootballers on our list, nineteen in fact, who display the fundamental qualities of LEADERSHIP in how they conduct themselves, not only in the Sweet FA or within the broader Big Footy community, but in life in general. Strong character, ethical behaviour, and above all, the desire to elevate others.
We have been fortunate enough to identify a twentieth candidate, a quality qootballer, responsible citizen, and more importantly, friend to all they meet. This person embodies all the qualities of LEADERSHIP, and it would be remiss of the Fighting Furies as an organisation committed to the fostering of such qualities not to identify this as we approach a club defining Preliminary Final.
