Let my begin by declaring in fellow footy fans that have chosen to behave like cyber terrorists rather than engage in good natured banter.

I stumbled across this thread of posts whilst I was trawling for goss on the carey/Johnson trade, then low and behold after I responded to an attack on the tigers after a misleading quote with respect to miller ..all hell breaks loose

Can I ask that everyone takes a deep breath and has a think before ambushing decent law abiding footy fans like myself

Hell i almost barracked for North in 1974 when I asked for a jumper for my birthday...

Cool it ....I regret it If I offended anyone I was probably a little out of line

I just love footy and wish for nothing more than all vic clubs survive.

I was at fitzroys last game in Melb and believe me I had a lump in my throat

Get behind your club and hang in there

You weren't exactly letting anything go through to the keeper though were you.

Ok - to offer a peace offering. Here is some more constructive things I can think of about Richmond when I am not trying to bait Tiger supporters who are trying to bait me.

8 from 9 years in profit - thats actually quite good - still not footy but in todays climate it shows that the CEO (who has unfortunately now left) did a good job.

Richo can play, when he's on. Very up and down and that whole business with the body language is spot on. But when when he has his head up high he's good to watch. Played well in the UK - always good to see someone swat the bombers

Rodan can play

We should have Father-Soned Krackeur

Kellaways are pretty good

Always liked the look of Stafford

Ottens has a while to go but still has a lot of potential

While your captain is not my style of player, he can still play a bit - shouldn't be captain though - should give it to ottens when he gets a bit older

Err . . I think thats it

agh some sense at last ..

Young andy Krak can excite but has a long long way to go.....has just about every trick in the book... but natural pace to get that important gap on an opponent.

As a consequence he really doesnt get enough of the ball...still has alot of time ahead , although would need to show some real signs of improvement this yr

Thought 2002 may have been the yr after a promising pre season , highlights were few and far between since ....I think you remeber the goal against the roos that for mine should have gone to the wire for goal of the yr ...rather than akers very ordinary one

cheers

Richo can play, no question. Its just that blokes he plays with don't realise that the object of the game is to kick it to him, not over his head to the defender that is trailing Richo by 15 metres.

I have been to few Richmond games with Tigers supporters and even I get frustrated with the delivery to Richo.

The Richo body language isn't good, but you can understand after 10 years of having the ball kicked over your head.

How is that for a peace offering?? :D

now you might understand why we just about mortaged the puntrd grandstand to get a bloke like Johnson that can hit targets .........

agree 100%

Also reckon tbe Roos need some one like that

Grant is pretty good so long as he is on his left hand side.

Harvey and Makepeace probably come in next.

Simpson is .. err .. questionable in his delivery. Stevo's a bit up and down.

Dylan Smith looks really good with the ball so long as you don't notice that the ball probably ways more than he does.

Hoping Ashley Watson is a Class player rather than an In and under player

I think we still suffer from Carey-itis. the point was to get the ball (our guys are pretty good at that) and then kick it to the Forward line as quickly as possible and let Carey do the rest one on one.

Sav needs much better Delivery and our other tall forwards are all really young (Petrie, Morrell and (eventually) Hale) and need some development time
