Ellis most likely won't play rd 1. I think C. Cornes is best in the backline as there are numerous midfielders at his price who also look like good propositions (eg Knights, Boak, Pendlebury, Stanton if you go up a bit).

jeez there seems to be a lot of people starting hill in the backs...

3 way rotation of Hill, Broughton, and Suban as 7th defender. At least 1 of those 3 freo boys should start in round 1, and if that 1 gets dropped, theres 2 more that hopefully replace him with.

Ok guys, I know it's nothing unique but i really need your help cos this is my first year at DT and want to prove all my mates wrong as I've been picked for last place. Would love to shove a league win down their throats and watch them squirm

I've done a lot of reading on DT but this team is about 2 weeks old. Mainly looking for any disasters to avoid.

I guess my concerns are:

Birchall <----- How has his pre season been going?

Mids
Rookies (Who's top 2 including Swift, Beams or davenport)

Ruck
Graham not playing dispite ealier romours of having a good chance

Forward
Gia for Didak?
Other rookies to consider: Yarran,

Also there are a few names that have been brought up recently:
N Jones, Dalziel, L Davis, Tuck
Ive been told these should be a lock in. But who can I remove??

i reckon your one gun short in the mids i would downgrade fisher or goddard to possibly drummond then upgrade haselby to possibly gibbs if have enough. yeh didak is overpriced, trade him for gia..birchall has been solid in pre season he is still a good pick at his price ..swift and beams are your best 2 rookies there..

well i actually think my side is settled. I have thought my side was settled about 20 times now but this time i actually think i have it.

Ive kept about 9 players from my original "set" side but im no longer tossing and turning about each position. This will last for about 18 hours when i get home from work tomorrow and discover the line-ups for thursday nights game and then ill make more changes
