This my DT, feedback welcome,be gentle.... lol
Don't worry, I'll be gentle. Rather than just saying it's shit, I'll tell you why it's shit.
A) Don't pick key backs like McPharlin, Taylor and Ryder. No matter how good they are in AFL terms, there's no point getting them for DT because their main aim isn't to get the ball.
B) Don't pick players who've just had breakout years like Palmer. I got sucked into that the first time I played DT too. Palmer's not going to be a value pick this year. I did the same thing with Justin Westhoff *facepalm*
C) Forwards like Betts and McKinley are similar to defenders like Ryder and McPharlin. The main reason they are in the side is to kick goals, not get the ball. This makes them A) Inconsistent and B) Not high scorers anyway. With your defence and forward line it's always good to look for players who push up into the midfield regularly, Betts and McKinley won't and neither will any of the key defenders.
So yeah, just look at some different types of players and you should be fine.
