Is there any chance Kane actually watches all 9 games?
0.0
I agree with this, his reports on the players always seem to be really superficial, almost as though he just looks at the stats and makes his decisions based solely on that.

Based on the article, I highly doubt he watches much at all. This is his justification for the 6 backline players:

Nathan Wilson has been an awesome recruit for Fremantle. North Melbourne is thriving because of its key pillars and Robbie Tarrant was huge against Hawthorn with 16 marks. An underrated one is Harris Andrews, who kept Gold Coast's Tom Lynch quiet and had 14 one-percenters. Miller kept Brisbane's best player, Dayne Zorko, to 10 disposals. The desperation from Davis to not give up in the final play against St Kilda epitomised his attitude and Tom Doedee helped keep Franklin quiet.
So Davis makes the team because he "didn't give up on the final play of the game and had a good attitude". That would sound good if this were a match report for the Wynn Vale Under 11's game, but I expect a bit better justification from an AFL.com article.

Meanwhile Doedee "helped keep Franklin quiet", completely ignoring the fact, Daniel Talia, you know the guy who actually played on Franklin, was really the one who kept him quiet. Obviously his attitude wasn't good enough to make the team though.

Can’t wait for Rucci or Kornes article criticising Port for the SPP incident.....it’s gotta be coming any day now.....surely....
Just the same as noone will come out in the radio or print media in SA and criticise them either.

Yet we all know that if it was the Crows that Kane and Rucci would be teeing off at the club trying to claim that the club was hiding something etc.

Kane you trickster you, trying to tempt Crows supporters to call in, by saying SPP got 3 weeks for being out late.

Yep, the three weeks was for being out late, nothing more.
Totally disrespectful for the young girl involved with the incident

Kane had a good go at Sturt supporters after a woman rang up and mentioned Roger Rasheed’s Tweet.
Roger was so disgusted he felt compelled to Tweet it.
If only he reported it to officials like a certain young lady did recently he might’ve seen some action to his concerns but no, Roger just vented into the ether.

I think the club has been pretty respectful to not actually say exactly what happened in the club interms of the details of the contact considering her original detailed allegations. Pretty much saying what she said didn't happen the way she said and that could be quite embarrasing for her. If what she said happened to the detail she originally described it the integrity unit legally would of had to report this to the police.

Yep, nothing negative towards port other then KT and Kochie are on a different page publicly and that was always going to be the case today.

Anyway i think it's time to move on. Port will deal with 7 behind closed doors.
Actually they were pretty scathing as to how they’ve handled it and the nonsensical presso by KT that absolutely explains nothing.

Port won’t ‘deal’ with 7 in the way your idiot man Koch has been threatening. Port will piss its pants and try to negotiate a truce, considering the partnership.

I imagine that Port's grandstanding about 7 is more about placating their fan base than anything else.

They'll be hoping that they earn back a few brownie points by talking tough then hopefully win a few games and their fans will forget about it.

Then "we've got more important things to worry about" in a few weeks.

Wow, just wow... you Port supporters are priceless!

After first denying it happened..
Then stating it was all made up by the media...
Then victim shaming..
Then personally attacking the ch7 journo to the point where some of you said you should find out where she lives..
To then claiming, with bat shit crazy conspiracy theories, it was the crows that were behind it..
To then attacking the AFL (nice way to bite the hand that feeds you)..
To then start claiming you’re gonna sue...
All the time claiming the club and SPP are somehow the victim in the whole sorry saga..
To SPP finally late this arvo apologising for his actions..

You now are asking everyone to move on now??... that’s actually laughable. The amount of hysterical nonsense and bile Port and it’s fans have vomitted up for the past couple of weeks, lashing out at anyone and everyone, has been utterly disgraceful...

But nah, we’re now all suppose to forget all that and “move on” now!!...

Sorry, we will all “move on” from this sorry saga when we’re good and ready mate... not when those that have been responsible for the absolute rot that has been written about this on the BF pages tell us to... now twaddle on back to your childish board who are so soft they can’t accept even the most minor of comments/criticism on their threads..

Let’s just hope SPP can get his head back in a good space and get back to being an AFL footy player and learn from this experience.

I'm sure Port would love to see Sam Powell Pepper, who admitted he was smashed at the time of the alleged incident, being cross-examined about said incident by a lawyer in a court room should they launch legal action against Channel 7 with a defamation case.
