has anyone (media/AFL/PAFC) bothered to check in the with girl to see how she's holding up?
Media: GTFO, they stay right away.

As for AFL/PAFC: That would depend on what they've done to date, and what she wants. If the matter has been resolved, apologies have been made etc, then I don't think they've got any particular right or obligation to "check in with her". And that IMO is more for the club to deal with than the AFL. It is the club and their player who are responsible for dealing with her, not the AFL.

but anus and those flogs will tell you that SPP is the victim!
You know what he's a victim of? His own club and the way they have publicly handled this (which in turn makes you question whether they've handled it properly privately, as well).

To the extent that he needs or is entitled to any kind of "help" from the club - and he is, at least in sense of (a) tough love to make sure he learns from this and reforms his ways, and (b) managing the media fallout so he doesn't get totally lynched, then it doesn't look to me like the club has done a very good job of that, at all.

Kane had a good go at Sturt supporters after a woman rang up and mentioned Roger Rasheed’s Tweet.
Roger was so disgusted he felt compelled to Tweet it.
If only he reported it to officials like a certain young lady did recently he might’ve seen some action to his concerns but no, Roger just vented into the ether.

That sums it up, It shits me when people complain about a supporter base and what was said yet, fail to get off their arse and make a complaint to the correct people so something can be done to fix there issue or nip it in the bud at the time.

I have been to a lot of Sturt games over the years and one thing I can say they are doing a good job in stamping out the more negative action of a small (very small) group of People, which by the way every club has them, And it's their own supporters that are making these changes,

To Roger, I have one thing to say WHAT DID YOU DO TO HELP FIX THE PROBLEM.

I know the lad is only 20, but bloody hell I could barely understand a word he said during the interview with Tredrea. The poor bugger probably had no game going when trying to chat up these chicks at the club with that monosyllabic voice.

I sat down and watched Kochie from the Footy Show last night.

Talk about a massive back peddle, he pretty much admitted that his early comments towards the AFL were just out of frustration that was in the heat of the moment and pretty much took them back.

It's sad to think that there are still morons on the Port board that seem to have a ridiculous belief that Port are going to be launching legal action even though it's blatantly obvious after listening to both KT and Koch (last night) that nothing further will be happening.

Hahahaha Hutchy just cleaned up Daniel Norton made him look like the biased Port fool he is.
I only caught the end of it where Hutchy mentioned Kochie's foot in mouth on Thursday, yet Norton respectfully disagreed. Norton is clearly biased & makes it a joke he is on 5AA controlling the Port message & shutting down any negative comments, not matter the truth.

I've noticed him be more vocal in recent times, in the little bit I listen to.

Just can't help himself although he is more articulate than Rooch.

Basically said Koch going on nine was a big mistake and reading between the lines was implying it's caused trouble at 7, reckon he knew more than he was letting on as well. Of course Norton disagreed, but Hutchy's points all hit the target.

Kornes says Lever's play has improved dramatically since he deleted Twitter. Hate to see how his game on Sunday would have been if he was playing poorly.
I wonder if Kornes reporting will improve if he deletes twitter

Haha, someone should ring him up and ask.
It was one game, hardly a strong form indication. Maybe if his play had improved after a month or so. Not that it's improved a lot, but many in the media are looking for anything in Jakey's play to prove he will be a good get for Melbourne.

I tried watching that game just to see how poorly he went, but it was such a horrible game I couldn't stick with it. Did he perform poorly again?

Posters on here will tell you he was terrible.
Media will tell you he is playing well now.

Gut feeling it's somewhere in between. I didn't watch either.

13 possessions, 5 changers, 3 tackles, approx 55% DE

I watched about half of the game. He was pretty average
