has anyone (media/AFL/PAFC) bothered to check in the with girl to see how she's holding up?
As for AFL/PAFC: That would depend on what they've done to date, and what she wants. If the matter has been resolved, apologies have been made etc, then I don't think they've got any particular right or obligation to "check in with her". And that IMO is more for the club to deal with than the AFL. It is the club and their player who are responsible for dealing with her, not the AFL.
but anus and those flogs will tell you that SPP is the victim!
To the extent that he needs or is entitled to any kind of "help" from the club - and he is, at least in sense of (a) tough love to make sure he learns from this and reforms his ways, and (b) managing the media fallout so he doesn't get totally lynched, then it doesn't look to me like the club has done a very good job of that, at all.
