Exhibit A: Caroline Wilson's (on Footy Classified) great concern about Rucci's failure to have a professional relationship with the AFC, and that 'someone needs to get them together'. With head nodding from Hutchy.

You are not the story, guys. We don't care.
Oh and the constant plugs and puke inducing back slaps they give each other whenever there exist 5 seconds of free air time.

Soon to be seen academy for gossip mongering hacks who could never make it actually playing the game, but who, by taking this newly created pathway could become as recognized and highly paid as any Player.

So to get headlines & sensationalism .....the story goes from groped / touched innapropriately .....to sexual assault ...FFS :poo:

why dont you try sticking your hand up inside a girl’s skirt and see what you get charged with (especially since you’re not an AFL player) ...

That’s sexual assault 24/7 with zero excuse - not drinking, not drugs, not even curfew breaking lol can excuse such things

Agree. If I did that at work I would lose my job.

It is not acceptable in the world we live in. It is inappropriate and if he is found guilty then he wears the consequences.

This isn’t the 70’s!

Fiveaa with the hard-hitting questions to Clurey...

Rowe - "Tough day for SPP, how is he? He's a good lad.. tell us about him"

Clurey - "yeah he's a good lad, he's up and about, he'll be alright."

Rowe - "Yep well done! Thanks for that."
Rowe is a moron.

Koch:

“I am not sure being a footballer means you have to be a monk. We are not running monasteries here,” Mr Koch said on FIVEaa.

and

"“Yes, they are by comparison paid very well, have a role in the community. Yes that’s acknowledged, but they have to be young blokes at times."

Staggering given there are potential sexual assault issues here.
"...but they have to be young blokes at times"

Guess I've never been a "young bloke" before as I've never had an accusation of assulting another person

“I’m a basketball player, not a monk. I play the women, I play the clothes, I play the cars, I play everything I can play. There’s players and there’s playees. The playees are the ones who get played by the players. I am a player.”

Oh you now cant find it?
Convenient.

If it was that 'common' it would be at the top.
There would be a definition.
It would be quoted in various places.
Its not.

Hell even Urban Dictionary doesnt have a definition. Thats how you KNOW its not used how you're saying it is.

The reference is to monks not moving from their homes, meditating and being completely private in their lives.
Is it commonly used to describe non-drinking curfew-abiders?

Would think he just used it in the same context as you would say the players aren't saints.

Back to the overall theme of this thread i note Rooch's article is titled "Trap for Young Players".

Reverse the clubs and is there any chance he doesn't go with "Crows in Culture Crisis"?
Exactly. Making out spp has somehow been trapped is revictimising the girl too

Koch said this morning the curfew was 1am, everywhere else it’s been mentioned as 2am. I wonder if he doesn’t know, telling porkies or everyone else has it wrong?
Surely beyond midnight everyone is too drunk to tell the time

Or to remember what they did
I do love how SPP's version of events was he done nothing wrong but he was off his chops.

Normally, the Saturday night starts to piece itself together by Thursday. Expect him to wake up with an 'oh shit' moment and remember that time of the night where he went flinging girls panties.
