Flash was the lighter offshoot of Arrow and Legends the lighter offshoot of Flash. It's always been that way.

Flash is garbage because of lazy writing, and Iris now reverting back to the annoying character she was in the earlier seasons.

Legends always had a bit of cheese but there's was always some character development and seriousness trickled through the episodes, and now it's a parody of itself.

Oliver biting the dust was a diamond opportunity to provide a bit more depth to some of the characters. Barry should be feeling the weight of leading the way, and Sara's grief lasting longer than an episode.

Was hopeful after the last 10 minutes of the crossover but characters aren't worth being invested in anymore.

I fell behind during this season and have only just caught up to the start of the 'Crisis' episodes, and it has been an absolute grind!

The 'girl power' crap they are trying to pedal with Cisco's GF, Iris and Allegra is so overly forced I almost skipped to the end of one episode. It's almost like the writers are attempting to make them Team Flash 2.0.

Episode takes me twenty minutes to get thru.

The pivotal moment was when they didn't let Iris die at the end of season 3. They didn't want to risk the backlash similar to what happened when they killed off Laurel.

That there could have defined Barry. He went into the future and saw what he'd become. When he saw that, do you honestly believe he'd let himself get to that state? Do you think Ollie would have? Caitlin and Cisco? No way known.

I feel sorry for most of the women in the Arrowverse with their writers. Especially Guggenheim. I'm giving it one more episode but if it blows I'll never watch the future seasons. I'll rewatch 1-3 of course, and the crossovers but seriously, the CW need to dump this. Keep LoT/Supergirl/Batwoman (needs to get one more season and then maybe toss it) and bring in Superman and Lois.

Saw her being a villain from a mile away. This show has become way more obvious with its character reveals.

Inverse correlation. It's like Daredevil IMO, where the change most wanted was 'Stop trying to make us like Karen'. With The Flash, it's 'Stop trying to make us like Iris'.

I wouldn't say all the female's in the show are annoying. Cecile is fine, Allegra is fine. Caitlin / Frost is smoking hot and not annoying in either guise. Gypsy was fine. It's really just Iris. She's not super powered, she's not super smart like Caitlin, there's no need to thrust her in as some irreplaceable part of 'Team Flash'.

I watched Legends then Flash b2b last night, and honestly the difference in quality is like comparing Tom Lynch to Courtenay Johns. I couldn't get through 15 minutes of this shit last night.

I do it in the reverse order. Get through the Flash and then reward myself with Legends.
One of the few glimmers of hope Flash had left was bringing back the Reverse Flash. Looks like they have scrapped that idea though (Thawne's energy disappearing into thin air is code for "we'll bring him back when we need to fill a plot").
