The Barry stuff has tended to be okay. It's all the other crap getting so much screen time that is the problem. In a show called The Flash, there isn't really much of The Flash in it anymore.

I think its been more focused on Barry this year coz of the crisis which has made it a bit better. Not sure what the back half of the season will be like though.
 
The villains get worse and worse each season. If I'm not mistaken, they explain that Ramsay knows that Barry is The Flash and knows about the crisis. So his master plan is to take control of the only person who can stop the multiverse threatening crisis so he can reign supreme for the 36 hours before the whole multiverse gets wiped from existence? I know he's unhinged but is he really that stupid?

Barry can still stop the crisis under his control.

Worst of the season and all time low.
It was ticked off for season 7 on the seventh of Jan but if it continues to drop at this rate (31% drop off episode one and dipping) how can it go on?

Not sure if true but recently saw something that coming into this year flash was CWs highest rating show I guess not anymore.

I feel bad for Grant he deserves better and has done so much better when they give him material that is good.

I thought this show would recover like arrow did but not to be i guess. Maybe if they end it to story can be elevated for a final season coz whats left really.

It is interesting watching this followed by Legends back to back. One show absolutely knows it's place and role and executes brilliantly almost every week. The Flash has lost its identity as a show.

It was designed to be the lighter fun alternative to Arrow, but Legends of Tomorrow has absolutely taken that mantle.
 
The issue is the last two episodes have done absolutely nothing to advance the plot or make it must see viewing.
This is the issue.
Never ever lead with Iris as the angle.
Barry, Jo, Wells, Cisco and Frost are strong enough to lead the story.
Iris is not and it’s the reason the show is flailing

Flash was the lighter offshoot of Arrow and Legends the lighter offshoot of Flash. It's always been that way.

Flash is garbage because of lazy writing, and Iris now reverting back to the annoying character she was in the earlier seasons.

Legends always had a bit of cheese but there's was always some character development and seriousness trickled through the episodes, and now it's a parody of itself.

Oliver biting the dust was a diamond opportunity to provide a bit more depth to some of the characters. Barry should be feeling the weight of leading the way, and Sara's grief lasting longer than an episode.

Was hopeful after the last 10 minutes of the crossover but characters aren't worth being invested in anymore.
