I watched to his "sunset hotspot shouldn't reach my feet" bit and switched it off. It reaches his feet because the top of the sun is still above the level of the water at his feet, and obviously it extends all the way back to the sun because the earth curves down, not up...

It's not rocket surgery.

Definitely looks flat

Notice when the camera's inside the capsule with him, looking out to the earth from his pov, it's flat....no curvature.
Notice when the camera's outside the capsule, the curvature of the earth is massively exaggerated -- especially compared to what we see when the camera is inside the capsule. It's like they're using a fish-eye lens or something to make it curve so much.

Well no, not really. The interior of the capsule is very small, you're not going to see much of a curve from a small viewpoint like that. The shot outside is a lot wider, from that altitude and that view you can clearly see it.

Tell you what's fishy though, the insistence that anything showing the curvature of the Earth has to be from a fish-eye lens.

Look how much it curves tho, and the exterior shit is ONLY a short view too, compared to wider shots made famous. It curves far too much. The earth looks so tiny therefore.

I'm being serious there's something OFF with that exterior shot

So I'm up in Queensland at the moment, do flat earthers have an explanation for why the length of the day is different here than down in Melbourne?

We've been over this so many times. It's about scale and viewpoint.

Has anyone posted this link to this site before?

http://www.flatearthproof.com/

I would like you guys who are good at debunking or explaining stuff to address the stuff in that site and post here so I can read.

I'm not an expert like you guys, and I don't have anyone who can sit thru it with me and give responses back as I read that site.

Yeah, I get that obviously. But what I'm referring to is that the external shot is far too curved for that purview. It's exaggerated so much. The earth looks TINY if that was how much it really curved. I'm saying it doesn't curve that much whatsoever. If it curved that much then all those "40 mile headlands would disappear beyond the horizon" and all those mathematical calculations and other astronomical data used to verify the curvature and dimensions of the earth would add up better. Instead, with the already pre-existing image of the enormity of the earth, and how THAT doesn't even still match up with curvature data, the earth as seen in that external photo is far too exaggerated. It's either fish-eye, or there's some horseplay going on. Can one tell if that's been fish-eyed or not? If it's not, then it COULD (imo) indicate there's some horseplay. It makes the earth look moon-sized to curve that much.

I also just noticed another anomaly.

When you see the internal camera shot, his body is pointing towards the earth, he's looking at it.
But when you see the external camera shot, the open doorway, and thus his body, is not even pointing/facing the earth! But away from it.

So what the hell is going on in that video. Seems fishy (not fish-eye) but like two different scenes taking place. One real, one fake.

There's undoubtedly extra curviture due to the lens, but it's not a fish-eye, and it's not been selected to hide the "truth" from us 'globers', its to give a good perspective of the jump for those watching at home in amazement.

What the hell.

Dude, he's sitting in the exact same spot, you're just perceiving the earth from different angles and struggling with it somehow.

No. This time you are wrong and jumping the gun just because you're knee-jerking here. Take CAREFUL consideration instead. Look and think, and then reply. Don't be knee-jerk. You MUST understand there's a huge anomaly there. Your logical brain MUST see it. Dont be proud to admit it.
