Which part did you consider insulting. At the FES we do not believe in the existence of an elaborate space station. Quite clearly under these circumstances one would expect footage from such a thing to be both fake and inadmissible.

I am unable to communicate with the 27 missing FE heroes as they are missing. If I receive any information I will naturally pass that on to the thread immediately.
I'm aware they were carrying cameras etc but any details other than that I'm unable to currently share.
This is obviously a hard time for all of us involved at the FES but we soldier on in the name of real science and our thoughts and prayers are with the missing and their families.

Yes I have read the thread and seen all the videos. Not sure how you come to the conclusion that I believed in the spinning ball just because I posted a live feed from NASA. Also didn't realize that watching you tube videos = partaking in scientific research. To be honest I don't know who or what to believe any more. It seems that your emotionally invested in FE and I have no problem with that but can you answer one question for me. Lets say tomorrow you find out that you have been lied to and the earth is confirmed to be flat. What would you do then? Would that be life changing for you, what difference would it make to your way of life/beliefs?

Well the moon is only 3000 miles away and it doesn't seem overly big. I'm unsure what sort of camera was used to take this photo also. You will find with cameras they come in different qualities. Let's say you visited a camera store,what you will find is they come in at a large variation of prices. One of the reasons for this is their quality. You will be able to perform this experiment quite easily by looking at camera stores online,you won't actually need to physically go into a store which you may find helpful.
Camera capacities are also much like our eyes and much of this comes down to science. Vertical perception is far greater than horizontal perception.

Apologies,as you can understand I find it confusing that so many people post on a flat earth thread when it's clear they are ball lovers yet none have enough belief to start a ball earth thread of their own. As a scientific scholar I struggle when I'm feeling emotions such as confusion.
As for your question,I already know the earth is flat so to me it wouldn't change a thing. I guess me and my colleagues at the FES would have more opportunities at universities and such to teach real science but generally I don't think it would make much difference. Our research grants I would assume would be fairer which would also be nice.
Personally I just love science and to learn that without institutional interference like I currently do leaves me both satisfied and content.
I certainly understand it's hard for ball lovers to unlearn some of the things they have been forced to believe for so many years. I still encourage them to start their own thread even though they'd be wrong,but they would still be well within their rights naturally.

That's wonderful, darthbards, I've got no doubt that 27 people planned an expedition. That doesn't take away the FACT that the article linked on previous pages is entirely fabricated. Now tell me why you believe that these guys saw the ice wall from 3ks away, but a plane can't see it because there is no visibility.
