I guess science has pretty much put out an easily accessible model that anyone can follow after millenia of observations and measurements.

FE as fascinating as it is a a cultural movement isn't anywhere near as accessible.

If you don't have a model for FE and have never researched the actual model that exists, then this tells me you believe in FE for other reasons that have nothing to do with evidence (psychological and superstitious ones I imagine).

You seem to believe each exlipse is a separate once off hoax or something, rather than the inevitable and regularly reccurring result of the earth and moon orbiting the sun.

Because I asked him to show how it would work on a flat earth, his counter was that it isnt possible on a global earth, therefore checkmate.

So lets establish some things:

1) You believe the Round Earth is a NASA lie because theres no model that satisfies you in terms of how things like eclipses work.
2) You believe a Flat Earth is a more logical for solution to explain the vast amount of things scientifically proven to happen on a Round Earth
3) There is no model for a Flat Earth you find acceptable

For starters yes it is daft and no this model does not work even for a regular eclipse.

Well it was observed all over the earth with differing degrees of eclipse by billions of people.

Still no evidence of an invisible moon causing the eclipse so I guess the Sun must have been behind the planet.
