Not religious here but not not religious. It's not proven and science hasn't proved it wrong so I'm open, just think they're both pretty much the same.
The Globe spinning, round earth in an expanding galaxy, from a big bang isn't a bad example. Not a whole lot of proof, plenty of theory and maybes.
No, again. Your ignorance of it doesn't mean it isn't there. You should actually try to read up on it and educate yourself a bit.

I've read up,and they taught it at school as well, but I've obviously read further, and will continue to do so.There's very limited proof and we have already discussed all the unknowns and open ends. There is plenty of theory though, great.
If the theory was so proven, there wouldn't even need to be a reason for other theories, which other scientists are investigating,as I discussed the other day.
Why are you such a round earth fanboy, your sounding exactly like a religious fanatic yourself. And why do you keep telling people to educate themselves and read more?I've said,I don't know how many times now, that the spinning globe earth,in an ever expanding into nothing, from a big bang universe could possibly be true and therefore exist.
Are you entirely sure you don't need to read more?
I'm Sorry,I don't mean to stoop to that sort of pissing contest level, but you keep going there.
The book is missing too many pages to take it as gospel.

You stated that the earth spinning, and the galaxy expanding doesn't have a whole lot of proof. And that it's mostly theories and maybes.

This means you've not looked into anything about these topics at all.
It also means you've no idea how science works, and what a scientific theory is.

That's why I insist you actually research the topic, and stop talking about how there is no evidence, simply because you're ignorant of it.

Saying stupid shit like that, and again comparing my desire for education over supposition is not me sounding like a religious fanatic. (Trying to use religion as an insult, you've done this a few times).

I absolutely need to read more. I will never know everything about a single subject, let alone all subjects. But I do know that putting equal weight on two opposing theories, such as flat earth vs oblate spheroid, is at worst intellectually dishonest and at best, intellectually ignorant.

did you know it was (recently) found the universe is apparently expanding faster than expected hence putting serious doubts on the jesuit big bang theory?

religious fanatic (jesuits) or nazis (nasa) are often the ones that come up with the mainstream scientific theories, nothing wrong with taking it with a grain of salt

That is only partly what I said for a start. How many times do you actually want me to say it? The round, spinning, orbiting around a star, into an ever expanding into nothing universe, created from a big bang out of nothing could be entirely true. I'll say it one more time, could be entirely true.
I seriously hope this is all a hobby and your not seriously studying science. If so I hope you have a professor that gives you an almighty clip over the ears.
Nothing wrong with being a fanboy but don't become a fanatic. Science I'm sure will discover what it is that's going on and I'm sure we will all reap the same benefits.
If we don't,well maybe we were never supposed to and all these theories will have to do.

Putting equal weighting on all theories is intellectually dishonest at worst, and intellectually ignorant at best.

Where have I gone wrong with any of my 'science' that would make a professor clip me over the ears?

Why don't you mention quantum physics again, pretending like you know anything about it.

you failed year 8 and were not aware - we really do not know if the universe is infinite at this point

those that live in glasses houses and that

No, I said I didn't even get up to year 8. How could I fail it if I never got up to it?

The universe is infinite.

At least I live in a house.

Give it a spell caveboy.
Why don't you open up that mind of yours. You havnt even once discussed anything about simulation directly outside your silly little contest.
Something you might want to remember first, anyone who thinks they understand quantum physics probably doesn't.
But hey, here's a few things that fit with the simulation theory perfecly well.
- Wave particle duality
- Entanglement
- Delayed choice quantum eraser
- Quantum Zeno Effect
- Superposition
pretty weird rules in your natural universe that work perfectly fine in a simulated one.
You just want to argue mate, you want to make out how clever you are for the love of your beautiful round planet that I've said for the umpteenth time is entirely possible.
I don't say I'm clever, you on the other hand go the lower angle that you are because you believe someone else isn't.
Here's a news flash, again, more than one person can be that of the same thing.

Anything can fit a made up simulation theory.
Basically, you say that anything that happens and exists, can be simulated. Therefore we are in a simulation.

I'm glad you admit you know **** all about quantum physics!

And again, I've not said you're saying that an oblate spheroid earth isn't possible. I'm pointing out that giving that theory equal weighting to every other theory is ignorant.

And the fact I've told you that several times now, and explained it several times, once again leads me to think you are trolling, or thick.

I asked you to explain entanglement earlier. But of course you ignored that post.
Whats entanglement? The name alone isnt familiar.

Now you've repeated it again, without actually acknowledging that you have any idea what any of it is or means. Just that you've seen those words before.

So, in your own words, can you explain how those five dot points fit the simulation theory perfectly? Without it just being that anything is possible if it's a simulation.

I'll go with entanglement seeing it means so much to you and you can figure the rest out for yourself seeing your the smart one round here and go the insult angle rather than scientific.
Entanglement is possible because the link between the particles is in a database and can be accessed immediately, like in software.I thought I explained this when I said the simulation sounds like a computer, when referencing it the first time, but apparently you need it spelled out.

The only part of your entire post that even came close to explaining entanglement and how it perfectly connects to simulation, and it isn't even in your own words.

Entanglement is possible because the link between the particles is in a database and can be accessed immediately like we can easily do in software.

What a joke.
What's the joke? Here's another news flash,I'm not a physicist,of course I was going to hear it,or read it,or study it somewhere. What's your problem? That it wasn't in a book? If it makes you happy it's probably in a book somewhere to that someone can crack into.
Why don't you explain how these things fit into the physical world and how they make sense.
You've got some major problems with your ball earth love that I've acknowledged is possible.

You quoted someone else's opinion (purely opinion) and passed it off as your own. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

How can you not be ashamed of yourself?
What else have you been stealing from others and passing off as your own?

Holy shit, you took these dot points from the same reddit post.

Repeating something I heard isn't stealing. I didn't say I invented the theory. What seriously is your problem?
