- I sort of don't believe in a 'separate force' that mimics gravity. I'd just call it gravity as it makes better sense to me.
- Separate worlds and parallel universes is way above my IQ level.
- Universal Acceleration is hard to accept as I don't know how a flat earth could sustain acceleration unless the bottom of the earth uses all of the volcanic energy pent up in the earth like a big rocket exhaust to keep accelerating us. The glass shield can be like a giant windshield to keep the space bugs out and us earthers little rocketeers.

Can I get a quick summary of how you think the sun might move around the firmament (above or in) so that I can get to the point with my question regarding it. Cheers.

Firstly,thanks for your reply regarding my conclusions form the 'dropping things' experiment. If you would wish to call a seperate force mimicking gravity gravity ,I guess that's ok,but it would be confusing,not that we couldnt just quickly adjust to gravities new meaning,but it's hardly the same thing.

As the sun rotates around the earth it is moving in a slightly northerly direction. When it reaches its northern extremity it starts to head back in a southerly direction until it reaches its southern extremity,where it then begins to again head northward.
Please note,like the round earth,Gravity and Big Bang,this is all just theory,there is no factual proof.

And to get this thread back to what it actually should be, the Flat Earth believers proving that the Earth is flat and disproving that it is round (which consistently gets ignored) I will ask the following questions that I require answers to:

1. How actually does a sunset go below the horizon and a sunrise come from beyond the horizon? I witnessed this occur last evening while watching my beautiful wife during her pregnancy photo shoot (and took photos myself) and I witness it on regular occasions. But how, ahem, on Earth does that happen if the Sun is supposed to just zoom off in to the distance? My eyes most certainly didn't deceive me and the Sun most certainly did not get much smaller and smaller in size like it's 'supposed' to.

2. How do Lunar Eclipses occur? All of a sudden the Moon goes behind the flat Earth accidentally I guess. Something like that.

3. If the Moon was so close, how come different parts of the world see the same side of the moon? If it's only 3000 miles away then surely people who are beyond the other side of the moon would see that other side, but they don't.

4. If the Earth is flat, then how can we accurately predict exactly where the ISS was, where the ISS is and where the ISS will be (channelling Bret 'The Hitman' Hart for a moment) when those predictions are entirely based upon a round Earth model? You can do this too and prove it yourself. When you see that the ISS is tracking near you, you can look out for it.

5. Just how many people would need to be in on the conspiracy? It would be an utterly extraordinary amount of people that would need to know the Earth is flat but that we need to ensure the rest of the public don't find out. Why haven't the space agencies of other countries come out and shocked the world by informing us that what we have been taught is wrong? The Chinese would love to do something like that, I'm sure. How about pilots, meteorologists, scientists, physicists, etc., etc. coming out and spilling the beans? Why is my brother-in-law (a previously qualified pilot) lying to me, my sister, my family, his kids, his friends all of these years? Why would he do that?

Firstly,my beliefs are in facts. I believe we have very little facts regarding the true nature of the universe and it's the religion of sciences pushing of their theories on the mainstream public that has given it a wider and more general appeal. I believe all theories possible until we have factual proof. I have been limited to what theories of flat earth I can discuss and been told I must stick to the op. It does appear illegal drug use can be discussed though,with even the websites moderators partaking in such discussions.

I think you'll find there are differing flat earth theories as there have been throughout history on many topics.
The firmament is more in relation to the flat earth based around the bible.

A globe Earth doesn't preclude the existence of a creator. A sphere is the most perfect 3D object.

No mate, you've got this the wrong way around. The accepted belief amongst society is that the Earth is round. This thread is about the Earth being flat. Therefore flat Earthers need to prove that it is flat or disprove that it is round rather than 'round Earthers' having to prove what is already the accepted norm.

But the points haven't been addressed apart from "Metabunk, shill something or other". And the onus is on those who go against the grain of the accepted norm to prove it, not those who are in synch with the accepted norm having to continuously prove it.
