Well yeah, that's a given. At the time, (you do realise you're quoting stuff from over 100 ears ago?) We were still playing along with Newton's idea. Not really an argument that Einstein was suggesting that they design a Delorean to go back to 1066.

my google is currently broken , and i dont follow you - however i believe the experiment which proves the flat motionless earth old albert ze bomb maker is referring to, where you are complaining it was not completely quoted, occurred and was recorded around 1900

1066 was a good yr too :thumbsu:

I see a door, you see a CIA plot to cover up Bill Clinton's human meat grinder that helps to support his 1034 year old existence on this earth, aided by the taste of human flesh.

It's the reason why this thread has 132 pages of everyone repeating themselves

how does that bill clinton quote go... about the old man asking him a question, flat earth and nasa and the tv lying to you? thats a good one

speaking of bill, his mate george and skull and bones might be one of those societies that have pandered to the greater powers that be helping continue the globe-fast spinning lie for multi-generations

That's what "over 100 years ago" normally means, correct.

1066; meh, Normans and Vikings were 911's news

my apologies i started daydreaming about back to the future - and should of reread

i appreciate 1900 was some time ago, yet so was albert dodgy theories, newton, greeks putting sticks in Egyptians cities and claiming to measure the earth. (when of course the rest of humanity were aware of earths true nature, and came to such conclusion independently :thumbsu:

the experiment results are still worth discussing and remain valid like other aspects of maths and science... and link up beautifully with footage of balloons showing a flat/motionless earth and a small close sun 100 miles up in the year 2017 on youtube

As time ticks on, we learn new things. Ideas we thought occurred 1000 years ago (leeches are great for pain, Mercury is great in clothing) have been ditched in favour of better understandings.

I just really don't get the concept that since the discovery of the New World and the steady acceptance across multiple civilisations that the earth is round, that there has been something that everyone has missed for over half a millenia

it was not that long ago ... - the 'new world' had not be discovered.. . Which is pretty remarkable when you give it some thought.

If only a few 100 year ago the Europeans were not even sure of the new world / not found it yet, for mine it makes it much easier to accept the deception and flat earth theory.

Keep in mind many historians argue the Chinese who believed in flat motionless earth up until society of jesus' influence - sailed much of the 'globe' 100s or 1000s of years earlier if they had an emperor so inclined to do so. And they were smart enough to not get scurvy

When you learn how common that view is over the course of human history it quite interesting all together

Some still use leeches and say it works well.

Oh it is. Someone posted a picture meme of different civilisations having the same idea of a flat earth. Whilst that's not exactly true - the Mayans and Islamic scientists had a pretty good idea of what we would consider as factual now - it is interesting reading on how it progressed to the now. I interpret it as similar technology begets similar results

you could be right? sometimes memes can be true too

my understanding is the ancient world by and large did indeed share similar thoughts in regard to a flat still earth despite not coming into contact with each other much if at all. Which is another fairly remarkable think imho

and the Chinese continued that belief until the satan worshiping jesuits arrived - what a coincidence

its a good area of research. A envy a master of culture that specializes in this field and can read on it daily

Some claim (that some of) the ancients had technology that was very good and we are not fully aware of which is another layer on top

felix baumgartner - ascended 23 miles, which took 2.5 hours and landed in almost the same spot. How does that work? Did the earth forget to spin?

FFS... I've already been through this with GG.exe - it is for the exact same reason if you throw a tennis ball up in the air in a car going 100kph the ball does not fly backwards. Stop cluttering up the ****ing thread with things that have aready been explained.

the globeheads love automobile analogies dont they. can be used for everything from red bull to galaxies moving faster than the speed of light. More versatile than the Cavs roster - makes you wonder which methods would of been used in the era pre internal combustion engine & Steam locomotive

Seriously those pictures do nothing but discredit people using it as evidence, it just makes you look stupid that you can't comprehend what a stupid argument that is.

Mostly taken from flat earth websites posted by the likes of eric dubay. Very convincing argument.

cannot did you fail grade 2 science or something? i know you have NFI but try. If you ride a car with constant motion on a smooth surface you will not feel acceleration . There are many experiments in lab tested and proven to verify this.

It's would have been used ffs.

Mate, you're starting to annoy me greatly, and I don't have a long fuse with people who annoy me. I'll blow up very soon. You're asking MORON QUESTIONS that people have addressed fully already, and are cluttering up this thread with your stupidity. "Globeheads like automobile examples don't they?" is not ****ing proof!! FFS... I am here providing you evidence, you are there asking questions my 12 year old brilliant daughter could answer in a flash.

FFS mate - if you have a worthwhile point, raise it. If you're just repeating TIRED BULLSHIT THAT HAS BEEN REFUTED, **** off and don't post.

Did anyone notice it tonight?

The moon was bouncing around all over the place in the sky. Like a centimeter in the sky, left/right/up/down/left/up/down/right....as it was moving along the sky.

It's a full moon out tonight. It looks soooo close.

I love the full moon. Many nights I have looked at it with my beautiful daughters and talked about the nature of life, the nature of the universe, the nature of the moon, the sun, the earth. Like thousands of years of fathers before me I have tried to show my girls the greatness of what is out there, beyond us, because they deserve to live their lives eyes wide open. It's the duty of a parent to inform their children.... what is cannot informing his kids?

Come on man you're better than this.

When it is close to the horizon, it looks enormous. But use a simple thing like a ruler when it is close and when it is high, and blah blah blah we won't have to read the BS

Did you tell her about the giant ice wall?

This is not an academic paper.

i'm not sure you're reading the link i provided. you must be reading something else... thanks for making me lol with the 'peer-review' meme. i'm asking you to use your own logical and critical faculties to analyse the claims of a man who claims to derive the mass of the earth from an experiment involving a torsion balance and some lead balls - a peer review of sorts in and of itself, except, conducted by you.

I don't understand why, for instance, you would post a crudely manipulated image as evidence that mars photos are fake.
the point is not that they're fake. the point is if photos can be faked, then why would i take a photo of anything as evidence of it?
