There are clearly some aspects of Quantum physics that fall into the field of Metaphysical speculation....Alot of what Hawking has to say for example....That is where it becomes mere sophistry.

But no one will openly question or decry him as a charlatan because of his illness....Just my opinion.

I do admit But I'm happy to pour thru his videos as there are always gems here and there. And they're not necessarily his own points, but parroted from others.

The YouTube channel I like regarding flat earth is FLAT EARTH PUNK. Eg, those nasa fakery videos I posted a day or so ago.

All in all, it's just a very interesting topic. Far more than JFK, 9/11, etc because they're obvious. Also flat earth has a sense of human enormity to it

You have no idea what you are talking about. Have you read even a single book for the lay person on astrophysics?

A black hole is a loose term. It can be used to describe a region. The event horizon is a boundary to a region. But the boundary doesn’t have substance. It’s not an object. It’s only significance is that it’s where the escape velocity is the speed of light.

But since it’s such a clearly defined boundary, it’s still reasonable to think of that sphereical boundary as an object, even if in a strict sense it isn’t one.
