I am pretty much convinced that flat earthers, especially the ones who produce plenty of internet content, don't actually believe in flat earth and they are in cahoots with the guys who produce content calling them out as drongos and they all get views

I have no doubt that some do it for monetisation purposes but the vast majority of people that believe in flat earth have nothing going for them between the ears.

If the Earth is flat and is in a locked in system, why are there seasons and temperature variations.
I mean, it’s winter here and it’s over 30 degrees.
How does a locked in system account for this temperature variation?
Alternatively, a meteorologist can easily explain this, however, it relies on phenomena that can’t exist in a flat system.

Anyone been watching The Final Experiment live streams?

Long story short, Will Duffy sponsored a couple of flat-earthers and a "glober" a trip to Antarctica to prove there's a 24 hour sun (which doesn't work on that Gleeson map). A few more debunkers joined and it's been great watching them live stream from Antarctica via starlink.

Good on that guy for organising the trip and let the flatearthers/24 hour sun isn't real brigade to tag long.

Predictably though....they all couldn't swallow their pride on the topic. You even had some acknowledge the 24 hour sun and yet claim it doesn't prove anything else.

Trump's apparent interest in buying Greenland might bring attention to the problem with maps that use the Mercator projection. Landmasses away from the equator appear much larger than they really are. Greenland looks about the size of Africa but is actually about the size of Algeria.

Antarctica encircles the Earth's continents, but it isn't THE ice wall. Beyond Antarctica there are more continents and beyond them is THE actual ice wall....which is gigantic in depth and height compared to Antarctica.

There's a flat earth map that shows this but i dont know what its name is

Is the Sun flat? I asked a Flat Earther the Other Day and He laughed. The UFOs we see come from Beyond the Ice Wall of Antarctica, because those Continents contain other Life Forms we don't know about. They have the Technology to fly over Antarctica while we do not.

Inclined to not dismiss the idea that other continents exist beyond the ice wall. There are "maps" that illustrate this.

On the sun being flat....firstly, it ought to be defined properly what flat is. Flat doesnt mean table-top flat. It just means theres a huge rock (planet say) that has a rock-like shape, and just people live on the top of it, theres obviously hundreds of miles of dirt and rock and whatnot that exists under the surface. Just like a literal rock.

So in terms of the moon and the sun....flat earth theory suggests that both of them are local (ie not millions of miles away), smaller in size, perhaps even sane size as each other, and they orbit around the rock that is planet earth. Thus, like the earth, only one face of the sun and the moon is actually visible to us, the "top" face of the sun/moon fixed in our direction, like the top face of the earth is fixed in their direction. Why theres only one side of the moon that always remains visible to us....the other side of it would be say like the bottom side of the earth that the moon would never see either.
