Who's going to Melbourne show at Festival hall? I'll be there just got my tickets, now I've just gotta worry about next week getting Pearl Jam tickets

Got mine. One for me and one for the missus. But I have a problem.
The old ladies who sold me the tickets had no clue. I asked for two general admission tickets for the unlicsensed area. So they give me two for the licsensed area.
Now I looked at the ticket, and thought "cool, I can go into the 18's section - they forgot to check if I was 18" before reading the ticket stub, which says they I.D. you at the door.
Now, unfortunately the bloody concert is exactly a week before my 18th, and my girlfriend will be 18 by then.
So what do I do? Do they actually I.D. you at the door? Should I take the risk? Should I go back and ask for an exchange to the unlicsensed area? Could they do that?
It's not my fault the old ladies have no idea, so now I'm a bit scared I won't even get in!

I wouldnt worry about it. Plenty of times ive had tickets that have said 'No ID, No Entry' and noone has ever checked my ID. Even when i was underage noone ever checked my ticket.
I wouldnt worry.
Too damn late. I went back and changed it. But my big problem is there is no such thing as underage General Admission. So we have to bloody sit. What a jib. So, I fired off an angry email to the people at Ticketmaster...

It's with great disappointment that I have to lodge this complaint. This morning I was the first at Myer Dandenong at 9am as it opened to get my much awaited Foo Fighter tickets for the Festival Hall show in Melbourne, on January 29th.
I asked for two General Admission tickets, for the underage section. They had a bit of trouble, and I ended up with my two tickets after awhile. However, I discover they have given me two General Admission tickets for the licsensed area.
So I take the two tickets back, citing their mistake, and they acknowledge it, offering to change it to the underage section. It is then that I am informed that in fact there is no General Admission for underage people wanting to go to this concert.
So I am forced to fork out $70 to sit in a seat to see my favourite band with my girlfriend, all because my 18th birthday comes exactly one week after the concert. Now, my girlfriend will be 18 by then, and I'm a week shy of turning 18 by then. So we both have to suffer by getting reserved seating.
Why the hell isn't there General Admission for underagers at this concert?
Any concert-goer will tell you that the greatest experience is in General Admission. I understand that the licsensed area will have alcohol served, but I don't even drink! I'm exteremely disappointed, and surely there could have been a better solution. Perhaps a division halfway through the General Admission so that underagers can get in, or perhaps not even serve alcohol.
So now me, the real fan, gets ripped off and treated like dirt just so the precious people who make the massive profits from this concert can have their cake and eat it to. I'm paying $70 per ticket for God's sake! SEVENTY DOLLARS!
It's just not fair...

Got my FF tickets, BDO tickets and Pearl Jam pre-release tickets all on Monday.
Can't wait... Looking forward to the FF concert the most by far.

At Incubus/Tool/FNM etc I have seen kids young enough for me to be their father.

I and everyone else who I have spoken who went to that gig regard that as the best gig we've ever been to, they played for over two hours and it was awesome when Chad Smith jumped on stage and started playing drums for a while. The foo's even said on their website a few weeks later it was the best gig they had played.
