Realise it's old school and 7 did a half arsed attempt in recent years replaying the last year's GF before finally killing it off for good, but it's a pity.

Always a great tradition no matter how many times you had seen the 66 and 70 and 77 drawn GFs.

Always would stay up late to watch then get back up around 5am again .
Loved it . Especially those GFs you mentioned and always made sure I saw 71 .

Was young so was able to get through the day back then !

how hard is it for just one night to hold the late night utter crap they normally play and just marathon past classic G.F's.

Just a pity that 7 with its huge archive decides to give us a replay of Agenda Setters and Front Bar. Lazy and cheap.

it was better when they were the "football station" rather than the "tv station that shows football" like they are now
