as a "special guest star" (under the premise of discussing the Western Derby!!!)

I also liked Eddie's little 'give essendon the flag no, nobody can beat them blah blah'
I still say, that if the Footy show loses Sam Newman, it will die. Thats all Ch7 has to go, pinch Sammy somehow, and they will kill the footy show!

Remember the show when it first started?

It is a ppoor reflection now on how far it has fallen.

If the moron programers at 7 had any idea they would put the game on DIRECTLY against it at 9-30, sure the collingwood fans and the women( sorry for the sexsit bit but thats what the polls say make up a large % of the viewers) then while maybe it wouldnt beat the footy show bet it would make a hell of a dent in the ratings. i reckon that after a while that both show ratings would probably split fairly down the middle.

Still its ch7 were talking and everyone knows they just dont know what they are doing

Eddie isn't the one who brings up Collingwood.

It's Newman and Marmelaide. Someone had better tell Trev that his Collingwood jokes are about one season too old.

The problem with you blokes is that the only club you listen for is Collingwood. That's why you notice it so much. You should be over on Jimbo's board where paranoia is reaching levels not seen for 10 years.

If you don't like it you can change the channel.

Funny Bucks on the show, Collingwood coach is asked on, Sam goes to races and guess what another colliwobble has-been. Gee Eddie probably doesn't need to say a word (I wish) and imagine the show without Sam.

as of the moment, i don't think there is much wrong with the footy show.

a couple of years ago, i thought it was headeddown the gurgler as well, but in the last few years it had picked itself up.

the reason they talk so much about collingwood is because collingwood is topical at the moment. They are winning against all expectations, and therefore, people want to talk about it.

i'm an essendon supporter, and i admit that they talk about the pies a fair bit. But admit it, IT IS ENTERTAINING. You all have a laugh when sam walks out with the giant eddie-head on, and you all had a laugh when they did the collingwood losses thing last year. So to all knockers, stop your whinging. If you don't like it, switch off.

I'm a collingwoo supporter that enjoys the Game.

But I refuse to watch the footy show becuase of that pathetic excuse for a human being Sam Newman.

He is not funny, he is just a vulgar, ignorant and horrible person.


If he left, I'd watch, till then, I won't.

Someone should do us all a favour and just shoot him.
