I actually think his career trajectory is eerily similar to Jack Buller. Picked up while playing in the WAFL. Spent a few years in our reserves but kept getting injured at the wrong time. Was eventually able to get a couple of games together but collingwood made them offers that were too good to refuse.

IIRC Cameron was mainly picked up as a FF who could ruck a bit, just like Buller. Even brought in Plugger for a couple of weeks to help with his craft. Saw him play a couple of times in the NEAFL and thought his reaction time was a bit slow. TBH preferred Nank but Longmire loved tap ruckmen.
Cameron is a better mark than Nank

Better player in general NOW but IMO not then. Nank played the strongest 4 quarters and overpowered opponents in the second half.

The best bit was McRae having a go at the umpires for Daicos not winning the Brownlow...and then Daicos doesn't even win the Collingwood B&F!

OK, firstly, it was a genuine question, I wasn’t sure what you meant. I hadn’t been following the thread.
Next, I have no opinion on Cameron, good or bad. I don’t know anything about him.
Just as I don't know about his injury history.
I thought you maybe meant we didn’t recruit him, by saying ”stopped him with us’ -I didn’t realise you were referring to a current reserves player.
Lastly, don’t be paranoid, not everyone goes out of there way to quibble over mousesh1t.
