Have it from a good HAWKS AUTHORITY , that McVeigh was offered a massive contract to finish his career there and then go into coaching.
I think I read that somewhere else a while back. Can't recall if it on here or somewhere else, it wouldn't surprise me considering that's pretty much what they did with Malceski to a lesser extent.

Well done Gaz. Anybody watch him kick that goal and wish he was still playing for us?

(not me)
Nup.
It was a great goal and the cats look like a great fit for him, but when he was with us, the only adjective I could use to describe him is frustrating.

Tony Armstrong

Done well for himself. The job suits him very well.
He comes across as such a warm, caring, thoughtful person.
Never realised he was born in Sydney, guess that's why, after 3 clubs, he identifies as a Swans supporter.

Yeah, his heart was always with Swans.

Lets do this properly.
Congratulations to Tony Armstrong on his new role as full time Sports Presenter on ABC News Breakfast and I get the feeling this is only the beginning.

Swans Head Office: If you lot aren't already scoping out how the club can leverage this mans skills for the Bloods then you're not doing your jobs! If the B&F needs a new MC this man's name has to be in contention, he'd be fabulous! Also, get him to get into his mentor BT's ear about commentating for our Marngrook game...then he can start on the other games :tongueoutv1:

I really liked Paul Kennedy on ABC Brekky, but Tony Armstrong is an upgrade.

Phil Davis does some bloody good interviews, and asks the questions not usually asked.

Kane Cornes takes aim at Tom Mitchell's cheap possessions

Mitchell had 39 disposals in his side’s 62-point loss to Fremantle, but only had one score involvement and three inside 50s.

He did enough to keep his spot for a while longer. Will go to water in their last final for the year
This aged well....although not a big call I know..

This reviewer likes BJ's book even more than I do!

Looks like he might have written what will come to be seen as a bit of a sporting classic.
