(Paywalled) article about Adam Schneider, now coaching at Lavington.

Some snippets ( in interview order);
Most influential coach; Ross Lyon
Found the move from the country to Sydney "daunting"
....a country kid, 17 years old, moving to Sydney from a population of 10 to a population of whatever Sydney is, six million. It was quite hard but it helped me grow as a person. You chuck a 17-year-old kid into an environment like that, living with two people you've never met before and it makes you grow up faster. It also teaches you resilience and understanding.
Most helpful senior Swans players in his early days
Ben Mathews and Paul Kelly were really good for me in my first few years, they looked after me and I'll never forget that. They were both from the country so they understood that side of things and they were great people to lean on.
Hardest opponent; Andrew McLeod
Best players played with; Lenny Hayes, Micky O & Adam Goodes
Moving to St Kilda; Contacted by the Saints (Lyon & Hayes) on a post-season holiday. Said no thanks I've just signed a new 2 year contract with the Swans and bought a house in Sydney. No one from the Swans spoke to him.
I rang Paul Roos and said 'what's going on here, I've just signed, are you guys happy to let me go?' He said 'we can't guarantee you anything next year' and I thought 'that's strange, you just gave me a contract.'
Disappointing way for the club to handle his exit IMO.

Ultimately happy with the move,
.. looking back, it's probably the best thing I did.
On coaching;
My last year or two, I did some coaching courses and probably realised I was too dumb to do anything else so I thought I'd stick to footy.
Care, honesty and actions, to me, are probably the three keys to a good leader.
His plan at Lavington;
I want to be successful. I've played in successful teams but never coached one so that's my ideal goal at the moment. I like seeing kids grow and I like seeing a community footy club grow. I want to make sure the footy club's in a better place when my time's up.
Was one of my favourites, so wishing the best of luck to him. :)

Like the Rohan situation

That’s why I can’t stand Harley

Bloke is a liar

Will be ceo of the afl soon anyway

That’s his goal

Ben McGlynn leaving his assistant role at St Scum , moving to Mildura
Is he coaching? He has 3 choices, Imperials, Mildura & South Mildura in Mildura. Wentworth a short cycle ride away across the border.

How? My memory of Rohan was we moved him on when he wasn't keen to go, but I don't remember Harley specifically saying anything about it and from what I remember, there weren't too many on here upset by the call.
And what did he have to do with Schneider?

Harley spun it publicly as us so generously facilitating a trade for Rohan to move back closer to his home and his family, when in reality we'd just kinda reached our limit with him. That was probably the lie that Punts was referring to.

I certainly don't think Harley lied to Rohan. I can't imagine him sitting down in Rohan's exit meeting at the end of 2018 and telling him, "We think you're homesick and need to be closer to your family." Rohan clearly knew the reasons we were moving him on.

I will say it was a weird choice by the club to try and spin it like they did. Did they really think Rohan wouldn't come out and publicly reveal the truth the second an interviewer sat him down? And why would it matter if we wanted to trade Rohan for performance reasons?

Just weird to play funny buggers over the trading of a C-grade player who was always in our bottom four players.

I wonder if it was his reaction to finally being dropped for a game at the Gabba.

One of the worst players to have played so many games. The equivalent of Mitch Marsh being gifted so many Test matches for such a paltry return.

His public spin just might have been for Rohans benefit
