Maybe sad that it's the Dogs but good that he's working in footy at a decent level. Wish him every success. He always said that Rhyce Shaw was a big factor in surviving that time so hopefully he will have learnt a lot from such a good guy.AJ joining puppies as a development coach , how sad

North fans on Twitter getting giddy about Stephens because he won their time trial. Who's gonna tell em?
I am not sad.I remain sad about Dyl for two reasons.
- He will be another who does better elsewhere.
- he will be trapped at Norf.
Inevitable that when the list is strong fringe players will leave for opportunities. Nothing to be sad about. Wish him well as we wave him goodbye.I am not sad.
If our midfield is strong enough to jettison him then that is very healthy for the Swans.
We have a relatively young but experienced midfield that is just getting stronger.
With Grundy I predict great things enabling this midfield.
Disagree with 1.
He has a lot of competition there. Can see him benefitting Norf but doing better?
Maybe their VFL team? He would be a great get for them in that capacity.Sounds like Ryan Clarke is back at North Melbourne in some capacity. Dyl Stephens referenced how it was good having Ryno around, and introducing him to the North players.

Could be. But I think it's more likely to be in some kind of coaching capacity. Returning to the VFL at VFL wages might not be that attractive to Ryan. But he is an experienced player, renowned for his professionalism and preparing well so he might have a bit to offer in terms of player development.
