Gee he gave it to Nicky Winmar in the Burbon & beef one night after we beat the scum in 98. Kept telling Winmar that Micky O was the man now Nicky your no good anymore. That was a bad place that joint

It would have been nice if they asked Mal some questions. Who gives a stuff what Headland thinks!

He's not a past player, but I hope he becomes one.

Mundine, not a former player, but looking to make a comeback to the NRL. Will be the oldest player in Australian history to play. He's lucky his body has kept up over time.

He's looked like that all year. He's got into endurance motocross, apparently, so dropped a shitload of weight accordingly. His arms are still as big as my legs, though.

He was in the corporate box next to me at the Essendon final and yes he has lost a heap of weight but looks fit enough to lace up the boots and join the boys on the park.

He looks like skelator, but doubt he would be the type to be out and about if he was ill and in the public eye more than ever

Marty is a bloody legend. Got a chance to meet him & talk with him at a function the SA Supporter group organised. A really down to earth & likeable bloke I reckon. Not to mention smart operator. He looked at the double blues list & utilised their strengths perfectly. Solid simple gameplan. Nothing flashy. Just get the job done.

The Schniederman is back in Sydney!! :p

Loved Schnieds. Was one of my favs before he left & I followed his career closely throughout. One of my most memorable games was his last game (@ Etihad v. Us).

Heartbreaking for him & the Sainters those GF letdowns but reckon he really became a solid leader at the Saints in part because of that failure. He had early success with us then had so many more missed opportunities. A good lesson for the rookies & have heard some good stories re: his leadership qualities & connection with the rookies etc. A bit ala Shawry actually.

Good luck to him. Hope we can poach him in a few years once he's got his coaching eye in. :thumbsu:
