Ridiculous call by one of the commentators excusing why Vesz hasn't cracked the Dogs line-up saying the styles of the two sides is very different and is hard to adjust to. Everitt has at least played for the Swans and Barlow is doing alright for the Dogs. And that blokes at FF has done alright for you.

Vez hasn't cracked our lineup because Gia has been in excellent, almost career-best, form. IMO he's been pegged as Gia's long term replacement.

Nothing to do with different styles.

Problem with Vez has never been talent or class. Question marks have remained as to whether he has the application or especially the tank for AFL level.

Exactly Mase, i know for a fact if he had done what was expected to be a good AFL player he would still be with us.

From what I remember seeing of him he had classy disposal, goal awareness and loved to play the game, the only negatives he had were fitness and a few injuries.

The reason he has been unable to build his fitness base is debatable is it because of injury, attitude or just in the genes that he will never have the required fitness base.
