firstly, i'd like to say that barry has been great for the swans over the years...he was a premiership captain and was always entertaining to watch...i'm still a huge fan...

but he kept blowing up in 09...we moved him on...which, in hindsight, was definitely the correct decision...

however, during the nab cup when he was kicking bags of goals...there was talk of the bulldogs being better suited to barry due to their delivery into the forward line, he was moving from a team that was looking at possibly bottoming out (sure, that was the expert's predictions) to a genuine premiership contender...and he was supposedly meant to be the missing piece to the premiership puzzle...

fast forward to 2010, round 6...the premiership contenders are sitting at 3-3. down on form, the bulldog's silver service is lookin a little more like bronze, or copper at the moment...bazza's still getting agitated, giving away free kicks/goals...

meanwhile, his old team is sitting on top of the ladder (5-1)...the swans rejuvenated their list, their once stagnant ball movement and poor F50 delivery has significantly improved...the new superstar forward daniel bradshaw has been reaping the benefits of the new look swans, has performed exceptionally well and has kicked 6 goals in each of his last 2 games...all without blowing a fuse...

wonder what bazza would be thinking at the moment?

His new coach doesn't know how to use him.

When things are going like they were on Friday night he should have been sent to CHF for ten minutes crunch a few packs and open the game. Hall thrives on being involved and goes cold when he's not. They want to sit him in the 50m arc only there missing out on the full advantage of Hall big time.

Bedford, I heartily disagree with you on the Port Melb thing but I absolutely agree with you here. I am just so sick of media and supporters trying to make something of the Hall Sydney split. Not having a go at the OP, well maybe a little bit, but I am absolutely wrapt to see Baz kicking goals at the Dogs, and I am equally wrapt that our club has had a good start to the year. And as far as I can tell, both the Swans and Bazza feel the same way. He is a premiership captain and we will always love him.

Focus on two evils, like Carlton and Fev, rather than than two legends, like Sydney and Bazza.

Mate, they're abysmal. You want a team to follow in the SFL bedders, you can't go wrong with Sydney Uni. Good home ground bar, great young squad (compare East Coast's result this week with last weeks) and generally good looking supporters.

Don't hate the Borough at all. In fact support them in the VFL since Box Hill changed their name to the Hawks (I played juniors for the Mustangs). Also a good mate was Full Forward (or at least a key forward) there until he did his knee at the end of last year. I just don't think the VFL Reserves thing works for Sydney. Works for me because I can watch instead of waiting to read the very good reports, just doesn't work for the club.
