Crouchy is back!

Will help Roosy with the Academy and assist Playfair and Maxfield with the Reserves team. Great decision by the club. If there is one person who could help teach young guys the kind of dedication to training and professionalism needed to be an AFL player it is Crouchy.

Chapman was one of the hardest-at-it players we've ever had. Never lifted his head from the ball and spent more time unconscious than awake. His relatively short career didn't reflect his contribution.

His perfect kick under immense pressure to find Plugger on a lead during the dying seconds of the '96 prelim was what got us into the GF. Plugger kicked the point that got the glory but Chappy was the unsung hero.

Crouchy is back!

Here, here! Forget the draft, trades, etc ... this is the best news for the club the off season has produced!

The ethics and attitude that this guy displays are uncoachable ... if any of it rubs of on some of the kids that will have exposure to him, it will be the making of them (as footballers and individuals). This will just reinforce the "Bloods" culture.

The only thing better would be the announcement that Kirky has signed on too!

Jon Simpkin might get another chance with the Cats. Our ex-reserve players are certainly in vogue with the other AFL clubs. Phillips drafted by Port and Faulks to Freo. Brabazon, O'Dwyer, Barlow and now Simpkin all given permission to train with Essendon, North, Bulldogs and Geelong respectively
