Debutant
Who would have thought Ed would get picked up, let alone get a game for another AFL team. And ahead of Vesz. Good luck to him.

Yep, that's right.
No player in VFL/AFL history has ever kicked 100 goals at 3 different clubs.
Big Bad Bustling is on the verge of doing just this.
92 goals at the Western Bulldogs to go with nearly 150 at St Kilda and 400+ at Sydney means Barry is on the verge of creating history.
Can he do it this week versus Melbourne? Or will he do it on coming weeks? What is the danger Barry might hang the boots up due to injury when the Bulldogs are officially out of finals contention?
Actually, that could happen this very week, so he better hurry up and kick some goals!
Looking at the fixture - perhaps Sydney in Round 18 (at the SCG) would be a good game to designate as his last.
Just read this on the Western Bulldogs board. Not sure if it's accurate, if it is can we transfer the same thread to our board? Because it deserves a shared Western Bulldogs/Sydney Swans thread if that is at all possible.
I would love it if the Swans game was his last. I am sure, and I would hope that he would get a rousing reception at the SCG if that is where he plays his last game.

I told you all we'd regret letting him go.
He'll captain the dogs to a premiership.

I hope you are not going to buy a Crows or Footscray membership CasImproved but he;'s played the Crows and thew dogs
i was at the Dogs/Crows game and after half time he was allowed to play outside/loose no pressure. He didn't seem to have much harassment in the GC game.
Good for him for having found the nous to get space, but the test will come when a coach decides to ensure he is made accountable. If he puts his hand up than I will I trumpet his cause.

Didn't Micky look fit running around in the All Stars guernsey tonight for the EJ Whitten Legends game at Etihad, silky skills great to watch,
Was thinking, "Jeez, maybe a premature retirement?"Fit enough to play in the forward pocket for this Current Swans team.....
Breust revealed he had been keen on joining the Swans after playing alongside the likes of Heath Grundy, Nick Smith, Craig Bird and Lewis Roberts-Thomson during his time as a reserves top-up player. But at the 2009 rookie draft Sydney went in a different direction and the three players who were selected ahead of him are now no longer at the Swans.
"Sydney had three priority picks of NSW players so I was hopeful of getting a spot there but it didn't work out. But then to train at Hawthorn and get rookie-listed here I was pretty happy," he said.
A former player of sorts, the latest Rising Star nominee Luke Breust
