Snuck a quick look at the updated version of Emma Quayle's "The Draft" yesterday, particularly the end bit with regards to Vez. Talk about a guy with self-confidence issues, no wonder it was always a struggle for him. Before the his one and only game in 2010 (which turned out to be his last as a Swan), he took a good luck phone call from his granddad only to reply to him that it didn't matter because regardless of how he played he was going to get dropped the following game.

The silver lining for Vez is that he has since reconnected with his father, who he has found out is a PT and is helping him get his body right for the AFL.

I will always have a soft spot for him so I hope he finally manages to get it all together in his last year of his contract.

I didn't see any of the Hawks game but if anyone cares (probably just me!) Clarko played Spangher in defence on Cameron, who kicked 4 goals.

Terlich had a good game for the Dees today. Laid plenty of tackles and was hard at it. Think he was playing in defence on Nahas who was pretty quiet.
