Any word on where he is playing next season? read he was gonna play state level in 2014 while working.

For Perth, in the WAFL. Not sure if Cale is joining him. Paul Bevan plays for them(?captain).

Watching a bit of Jesse ripping it up against Carlton in the semi tonight and I feel short changed. For years we've put up with luke warm performances from the great white hope. When he finally gets it together we trade him. OK I understand why but after all the frustration it would have been nice to have some pay back for the patient fans with a few more candid moments of in-form Jesse in the red and white. Sigh.....

Wouldn't be the worst choice for Dees to pick up Bevan. Maybe even the Giants for some toughness and experience in the middle

Fantastic news, apparently Bevan is our WA scout

Was a little surprised we let him go at the time. Even more surprised that GWS didn't pick him up - would have been ideal for them in the start up phase.

Pretty good stats he's racked up this season, hope he gets a shot. Reckon he'd be a really solid pick up for Melbourne, might even be able to help them keep the ball in their forward line....

Agreed, Bevan was great for us and if he gets picked up by another club I would wish him all the best.

I dunno, he's said he hasn't been. I reckon that's just what he wants in order to ensure it's worth giving up his cushy job as our WA recruiter.

Same logic applies. Contract needs to be worth it in order to give up his job. Seems hardly worth entering the system again if it's just on a draftee's salary.

He'll do well. I must admit to some shock when he was quickly cut this year. Was half thinking he may be redrafted ala Thornton, Heath etc. The fact he wasn't and they went for a complete project in Aliir makes me think there may have been a problem.

I see Jolly's taken a job as part time ruck coach with the Saints. He'll be perfect. He knows more about being a part time ruck than anyone. In 2006 he perfected his craft.
