I only discovered this band about a month ago and at the moment I am in love with their music, just cannot keep listening to it.

I am fairly new to their style so I was wondering if anyone could tell me and bands similar to their style of music.

Yeh their first album is much better than their second. Nothing wrong with the second, it's just not really as good. Not quite in the same style.

Don't listen to them as much these days. Was addicted to them for some time though.

Alot of different 'indie' bands mentioned in this thread, none of which I would say would be similar to The Fratellis, it is rather different.

Little Man Tate are the only really similar band I can think off the top of my head. But nearly all the bands mentioned are worth a listen, great bands.

In the 2nd album, I do actually prefer the songs where they have moved away from Costello music.

Mistress Mabel and Acid Jazz Singer both feel like they should have been on Costello Music, and probally wouldn't have been real strongs songs on it. Brings the album down IMO.

I love Acid Jazz Singer. I'm not the biggest fan of Mistress Mabel though.

If you were a shape, what shape would you be?

It is always that same feeling when a band you love changes direction. It has to happen or things get stale, but you still aren't quite satisfied.

'Foals' are nothing like the libertines, besides the fact that they're english.
